Duplex climatisé dans un monument historique

We arrived when it was 39C (102F) and the owner had the air conditioning on for us which I have never experienced. Extremely nice. Plenty of towels, detergent and soap to last us 4 nights. Bed was comfy and the upstairs was a nice space to sit back and relax. Location is right in the middle of the shopping street and you can get to the main attractions by foot with ease. Very vibey with the brick in the home and the wood staircase that lead you into the home.

It was incredibly dusty on all counters, appliances and especially the floors. There was a broom so we swept which we felt the cleaners could have easily accomplished. There is also a "historic" smell to the house. The shower is pretty small, in the shower room the ceiling is 183cm (6 feet) and when you do shower I promise you will be getting water all over the floor. Literally impossible not to. Also when you shower the wall to the left of the toilet starts to leak water on the floor. The shower is by far the worst part of the home while everything else was great. We realize the house is historic but the dust was a bit insane especially since we cleaned and 5 days later it still felt clean. (Cleaners do better). We also feel that a large rug would go a long way in the living room but obviously not necessary.
