What stood out the most in our experience at this hotel was the staff. The hotel supervisor, Salah, and the teenage boy accommodated us with all our inquiries and needs. The location of the hotel is also very convinient as it is close to the Şishane Metro Station. Overall, our stay was excellent and memorable.

Staffs are super friendly, helpful. Breakfast is pretty good. The hotel is at the bottom of the Tower so it is near top of the hill. However the facility is not that good. I would rate the facility as a 2 star.

We had a pleasant stay in Galata Hotel, staff is really nice and communicate good and very attentive toward our need. Most importantly, the hotel have a fast elevator which most of budget hotel not providing. We check in late night due to flight and the transfer, but the hotel staff help us check in and guide our way easily via watsapp. The hotel was close and walkable to Galata tower, hence the name. Just an advice to wear a good shoes during your stay as you will be climbing hill most of the time.

Disappointing Experience at This Hotel While the hotel is within walking distance of Galata Tower, our overall experience was far from satisfactory: 1. Poor Accessibility – The alley leading to the hotel was blocked and in poor condition, making it difficult to reach by taxi. Carrying luggage was a challenge due to the broken pathway. 2. Uncomfortable Room Temperature – Upon arrival, the room was extremely cold. The air conditioner only emitted cold air, and we had to request a separate heater to make the room liveable. 3. Cramped Bathroom – The bathroom was very small, barely accommodating one person comfortably. 4. Inconsistent Shower & Missing Amenities – The shower water temperature fluctuated, and basic toiletries like shampoo were empty. 5. Cleanliness Issues – Overall cleanliness fell short of expectations and needs improvement. Summary: Despite its location, the hotel failed to deliver a comfortable or pleasant stay.
