Grand Galata Hotel & Spa

Rooms were larger than average with plenty of storage. Good sized balcony with a view of Galata Tower. Great rooftop restaurant with a panoramic view of the city and very good food. Great staff, particular thanks to Hilal, Sabri, Ozge, and Ozkan, as well as the front door staff.

Our room was right next to the elevator lobby and had a lot of noise from the hallway.

We were so happy with the hotel, the staff was absolutely lovely and so helpful. Location was perfect. Breakfast was very good.

Maybe just needed to book a bigger room for the amount of time we stayed.

We had a lovely stay at the Gelata. It's in a great location - close to bars & restaurants and a small supermarket close by. The rooms were cleaned every day with cleans towels every day. The breakfast on the rooftop was excellent. Lots of different things on offer for breakfast - both local and internations. The guest serices manager (Ozge Ozdal) was really helpful and enquired every day if we were happy our room and our stay. Her colleagues Hasan and Esma were also very attentive and friendly. The Spa, Gym and Small Swimming Pool looked really good (we didn't use them but we had a quick look). Overall very pleased with our stay here.

Nothing in particular. Our balcony was quite small and didn't have a view but that didn't matter to us.

The hotel is pretty much brand new and you can definitely feel it! Everything from the fittings to the design and the clean and new appearance really made for a luxurious stay. Their top floor restaurant is one of the best views in the city at sunset and the food was delicious too. Would happily stay here again if I return to Istanbul one day. The staff were also friendly and helpful, A+++
