The lobby was very clean and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for guests. There were handmade wooden games, such as Othello and chess, for guests to enjoy. The hotel also had a separate lounge where guests could relax and have a drink. The hot springs were open until 3:00 a.m., which was very convenient and allowed us to enjoy them at our own pace. The price matched with the quality

Dinner was delicious and the curry breakfast was wonderful. The staff was amazing and very professional. I also liked that you had access to the baths until 3am. Also appreciated the late checkout. We stayed in the Japanese room which had just what we needed. The games laid out in different stations in the lobby was really unique. The place has a different kind of vibe from regular ryokans. It was definitely a relaxing place to stay.

We booked our room last minute, so it was a little more expensive than a normal hotel room for Jozankei.
