Left as soon as we could.

Absolutely nothing. It was not luxury.

Not luxury. A/C did not work. The fridge door wouldn’t open. The building is run down. There were many code violations throughout that threatened our safety. This property would not tend to it. And when I said that it was dangerous and we expected a refund we heard nothing else. We found a different place to stay.

Spacious, entertainment (TV, games, ...), view of river.

Squeaky floors, insufficient air conditioning, hard sticky couches, no climate control directions, not handicap accessible, extra linens buried under clutter in the closet, one bathroom with no exhaust fan, elevator door is a workout.

Booking this apartment was a complete waste of money. Don’t do it.

The decor in the apartment was cute and the host used air freshener to try and make the apartment smell nice. Unfortunately, it did not cover up the weed smells coming from next door or the creaky and uneven flooring.

The building itself was horrible. It felt as if it was haunted. People were fighting inside, running through the halls, and the smell of weed was very prevalent. In addition, the elevators didn’t work. The apartment building itself is so run down I’m surprised it’s not vacant. It actually looks like a horror movie. The host said I could park my car in the parking area, but there was a sign that said “unregistered vehicles get towed”…. How is my car registered if the host never gathered my cars information. I literally checked in and never went back. I wouldn’t recommend this for anybody. And if you’re considering it because it might be “weed friendly”, trust me, you can find better in Detroit.

The location was ideal for our trip. We were only about 5 blocks from the location we visited. The view from the windows was wonderful. The size of the loft was much larger than expected. Parking and finding the building was super easy. There are several places to eat within walking distance. The area was very quiet most of the time.

The toilet of the unit upstairs leaked into the bathroom of our unit. It is a simple thing to fix and would not keep us from staying here in the future. This was the one and only negative of our entire trip and stay.
