In our industrial style loft we have an amazing view of Detroit Skyline and Canada. It is located in a central location roughly 5-10 mins from the casinos, bars, Downtown, Midtown and Corktown. Our location is very spacious, has cozy beds, a comfy couch and a amazing view of the river.

The unit was dirty, dirt around the sink, inside refrigerator was not clean the floors were dirty, the furniture was worn even had a blanket covering up cigarette burns on the couch, broken towel rack and toilet paper holder, bathtub was not clean, no hot water in the shower because they have a governor on it.

Very tough to find the key. Sending pics may be helpful. The loft is in disrepair. Shower faucet was leaking badly. Furniture was also broken. Cleaning was not thorough at all as far as dusting. Walls and doors were quite dirty.

It definitely was a beautiful place. I would love to stay.

This historic loft met our needs for this quick trip to watch some baseball. The host was great and got back to us immediately with any questions we had.
10.0 / 10.0
The place was spacious, had a TV with access to apps, and heating/AC because at night it’ll get a bit chilly while during the day it would get a bit hot. Places were easy to get to with a quick Uber/Lyft ride.

From the outside, the large industrial building looks pretty rough. Once inside, the charm begins to build and upon entering the unit, I knew this property would work great for an over nite to hear a show at Saint Andrews Hall. The owner was responsive, helpful for entry details and otherwise not around. The unit was clean and found to be accurately listed. The river view is special, and framed by downtown Detroit and Windsor. The draperies on the East facing windows provide sufficient privacy but in the AM, the rising sun shine came in over the top Alot. May or may not be important to some.

Place was clean and well presented. Communication was great

The property manager was very cool and quick to respond to questions. The area is all good, not far at all from downtown Detroit. The building is cool, older building but very spacious and clean. Would stay again for sure.

This place worked for what we did. The host answered our call when we arrived & could not get it. She got us right in. It was not very clean, some of the light bulbs were burned out, no blow dry, no smoke detectors.

Great spot and location. The building is a bit quirky and rustic, but overall it was a fine stay. The hosts were EXTREMELY responsive on any questions. Thanks again!

Aside from the construction, the location seems to be on its way to a come back. The building is old time, stairs impressive, and owners did a great job with the interior!
Excellent communication! We happen to arrive on one of the hottest days in Michigan and the ac insert couldn’t keep up. Not our 1st vrbo, owner above avg hospitality!

Not a nice area

The host forgot that we were staying there that night. The lockbox with the key was open and empty. We couldn't reach the host for nearly an hour which meant we were driving around Detroit not knowing where we were sleeping that night. The host came, apologized, and quickly cleaned. The building and surrounding area are "up and coming". The building being repurposed. The experience can be concerning and requires some trust. We didn't feel unsafe necessarily, but I wouldn't be outside alone in this part of town at night. The place does NOT have 2 bedrooms. It has ONE bedroom. An additional bed in the main room/living room, and a bed in the loft. The loft has no railing so it seems risky to use it. The one wall is a 2 story window with a pretty nice view. But there are no curtains so if you are not in the one and only bedroom, then you will need eye coverings if you can't sleep with light in the room. There is one small bathroom, no body soap, shampoo, or conditioner provided. Only hand soap. Toilet never stopped running/flushing. The one dish we were going to use, a coffee mug, had a hair in it. For over $300 this is definitely not a stay that I would recommend. And listing this as 2 bedrooms is misleading/false advertising. This should not be allowed.

The apartment was in a low key location not directly Downtown. But it was close enough. Nice view of Downtown and river.
The apartment was roomy and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The loft was neat and offered additional sleeping space.
We appreciated the Keurig and coffee pods! The smart TVs in each space were nice for bedtime.
Overall great apartment.

We had a very nice stay for one night, very comfortable. I was a bit surprised that in the other reviews no one mentioned the loft set up. There was no rail and I was worried all night about the two sleeping up there that they would get up and go off the side. It was just an overnight stay, so no biggee, but the kitchen was a bit sparse with only 2 coffee mugs. Other than that, it was clean and we loved the view and the roof access.

Place was easy to find and host was super helpful and responsive. 3 beds and 2 big couches so plenty of space for some couples or a few guys looking to go out downtown. We did walk back from ford field one night but if it’s chilly I’d get an Uber (which in non prime time was $9-14 to get to Greektown)
Room was spacious and had a great view for having coffee on the rooftop. Would definitely stay again. Way cheaper than staying at a hotel

The check in process was a little confusing, and the building looked a bit rough from the outside, but once in the loft it was totally legit. Exactly what we needed for a group of guys needing a place to crash. Lots of space and quick Lyft to anywhere in the city.

The entrance is hard to find and key location is confusing. Now that we have done it, hard to say how you could explain it better. Would be nice to have dishwasher and toilet runs a bit but stops so it’s fine. Very charming!

This condo is in an old building in Corktown, which is approximately 1.5 miles from downtown. It was a quick Uber ride to Comerica Park - you would not want to walk. There was ample parking out front of the building, and it was well-lit. The building was quiet, but as mentioned, quite old, so there was no elevator (that we could see.) Not an issue for us.
There was really nothing else around the condo so if you want to walk to eat or buy a drink somewhere, you're out of luck.
The inside of the condo was quite spacious, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The air conditioner was *okay* but did not cool the space sufficiently. There were three standing fans to compensate. Again, not an issue for us, but it wasn't that hot while we stayed.
The walls of the condo could really use a fresh coat of paint, especially in the bathroom. While it seemed clean enough, the dirty walls and fixtures (lamp shade, light switch) detracted from that. The bedding was very clean, but we did not use the shower. The end wall was all windows, which was neat, but they were dirty and there were no curtains/blinds so in the morning, it was full sunlight in the condo. With an update and fresh coat of paint, this condo would have been lovely.
With all that said, it was as advertised, very affordable, and a great one-night stay not far from downtown. The owners were very communicative and accommodating.

Great place to stay if you are in town for a game or short visit. Host was responsive and friendly. The building is very old and the area seems a little run down. The place had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We did hear gun shots outside the towards the back of the building while we were there around 4 am but its Detroit. With that being said, I still felt safe while inside the complex. The building has security cameras and you catch an uber/lyft within minutes. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at this property. It was exactly as described and close to downtown but far enough away not to be in the thick of things. Perfect for our get away. We also really appreciated the snacks, coffee, and water in the fridge. So kind and thoughtful!

This was my 2nd stay at this loft. We came in for a concert at Ford Field. The location is fine...super close to Green Dot Stables which is a must-do for us on every visit and it was a short uber ride over to Corktown to bar hop. She has added much more seating and a tv to the loft. It is a fun little place to hang out before hitting the town. So much more affordable than a hotel. It appears to be our new go to place to stay as we'll be here in a week for a tiger's game!

Super cool place with alot of space and unique architecture. No complaints whatsoever especially at the affordable cost

It about a mile from Corktown and a mile from Greektown. Easily walkable and easy/cheap uber ride away! It’s a lovely loft condo! I would say if you have little kids that like to climb it may not be the best for you-the loft has ladders up and there is no railing at the loft, but for a group of adults it is perfect.

Convinient location, an 8 minute scooter ride from downtown

A wonderful little condo! We were staying 1 night to attend a concert at Little Ceasar Arena, an 8 minute drive from the location. We had some difficulty getting access codes/keys, but the owner picked up the phone immediately and walked me through the process. So friendly and supportive! The linens were fresh and the place was clean. Loved all the windows and natural light! We were concerned about parking on the street, but it is well lit and we had no issues. We didn't receive departure instructions so we did our best to leave it better than we found it, with used linens removed for the cleaner's ease. We would definitely stay again!

Overall I have no complaints. The check in process was easy. The surrounding area isn’t the nicest but we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The unit was exactly as described and plenty big for the 6 of us.

The noise from neighbors was loud and all night. The place was okay but not someplace I would stay again. The upstairs loft was not easily used. The place was dusty and the light coming from the windows made it very hard to sleep. The owner was nice and helpful.

The loft was very clean, beds were incredibly comfortable, and Jazimen was very responsive. Enjoyed our stay. Great rental for the price.

Only thing we were worried about was checking out. We couldn't remember the lock box code and couldn't access the VRBO owner. VRBO closed down commication with them. So we left key on the table hoping that was ok. Also recommend Parking in side lot and walk to the front for easier access. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend 🤩 love that they left us little treats ❤

Great place to stay for games, super easy to get an Uber. It’s a true historic building. Parking was a little confusing but the office helped us out.
