Absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot. Everything that you’d need in the way of facilities and cookies on arrival was very sweet. Kids lawn games and swing was a huge plus.
The only minus about the whole experience is that the mattress on the double bed is a bit old and uncomfortable

The Shepherds Hut was beautiful, surrounded by beautiful fields. The Hut and seating area was a sun trap all day and the sports equipment was a nice touch. Although our personal kitchen and bathroom were a few yards away, separate from the Hut itself, it was good to walk between the two locations and keep most of our belongings out of the Hut.
The double bed in the Hut wasn't quite a double. A little too small for two adults.

Location is super, this large shepherds hut is nestled in a field surrounded by trees and fields of sheep. No human neighbours! The host provided a warm washroom at all times and separate kitchen. Also plenty of kindling and wood to get the burner going for the chilly night. Extremely quiet. The chickens and ducks are quiet at night but lovely sound of hooting owls. Kitchen well equipped.
