Perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway.

The room was luxurious with attention to high quality in the details. The location was so convenient as well as the parking on the property. We felt safe and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything about his place is 10/10. Location is phenomenal, the room is very modern, cozy and clean. Loved pretty much everything about the room and the location. The place is also pet friendly. We all had a blast. Highly recommend!

No front desk, so if you have questions you need to call to their designated call center/ support. We wanted to check in early but couldn’t get a firm answer on whether or not an early check in was possible. It took three phone calls to get an answer. A little frustrating, but people over the phone were nice and helpful after the issue with check-in was resolved.

Very luxurious

Coffee maker inconsistent although this is minor We stayed four nights in two different rooms. Wish we had had a way to store our bags etc. between 10 am and 4 pm when the room change occurred

Beautiful space but needs some tweaks

It’s a beautiful room in a great location.

Check in time of 4pm is quite late. We were traveling with a toddler and it was disappointing that the restaurant was open only for dinner. When we booked this hotel, our booking stated “breakfast not included” which to us implied cost of breakfast isn’t covered. We would have been happy to pay out of pocket but it wasn’t clear to us that the restaurant isn’t open during the day. In fact in one of the Booking.com questions asked by guests, someone asked “Does the property have a restaurant or is there one nearby for breakfast, lunch, or dinner?” And the hotel’s response stated, “The Carlin does have an on-site restaurant” but failed to convey its only open for dinner. There was no microwave in the room nor did the kitchen allow us to heat our toddler’s pre-cooked meal. We ended up dining at the restaurant for dinner and the first server never even provided a kid’s menu. We later saw other children eating a kid-friendly meal and asked to get the kid’s menu. Made for an inconvenient experience with a toddler. Upon arrival, there’s no check-in desk. It’s all very unclear as to where to enter and how to reach your room.

Luxury boutique hotel in ideal location

Fabulous Location in town. Everything we wanted to do in Breckenridge was walkable. The rooms are beautiful and obviously designed by a team that has traveled before and knows what would make a guest comfortable.

A few more hooks in the bedroom and bathroom, but really, it was perfect!

Very disappointed.

There was a very loud HVAC noise all night. Could not sleep! We didn’t have WiFi so I couldn’t contact anyone-no one onsite. After complaining the next day they offered a 20% discount for letting them know they had a problem-which they said was being fixed. The discount(not enough for a night of no sleep)amounted to $20. because they said they only received $128. for the room. We paid $300. They told me the extra charges were from Booking.com. Turns out they lied to me about this. They actually charged $150. additional for cleaning. Thus $300. per night. I’m amazed they didn’t do more for us.

Cozy and elegant vibes in Breck

Beautiful property. Loved having the restaurant and a bar on site. Free parking. Excellent food. Great views. My room had a patio with a great view of downtown Breck. Everything was so clean and well taken care of.

Very comfortable and convenient place to stay for our quick weekend getaway in Breckenridge!

Carlin is in a perfect location, easily walkable to points in town. They offer free parking so you can easily drive to places to hike or visit. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, and surprisingly quiet given it is above a restaurant and situated on Main street. We loved staying here!

My only complaint was we had issues with the Nespresso machine in the room- having a normal coffee maker would be easier.

Boutique luxury at its best We absolutely loved our weekend at the Carlin. From the second we arrived, check-in was a breeze—no waiting, no confusion. The design of the room struck a perfect balance between cozy and modern, and the bed? Pure heaven after a day on the slopes. The location meant we could walk everywhere—main st, shops, coffee. And we couldn’t get enough of the tavern downstairs. Great energy, and the cocktails were top notch. Bonus points for the curated in-room snacks. Felt like they knew exactly what we’d crave.

Modern, fun, and effortless

Modern, fun, and effortless From the first moment, everything felt easy. No lines, no paperwork drama—just a digital code and off to a beautiful room that looked like something out of a magazine. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the whole vibe and views made us feel like we were staying in a luxury retreat. The onsite restaurant made dinner plans easy, and we ended both nights with drinks at The Tavern. The property manager was also responsive and genuinely kind.

they did not offer a breakfast, there was no on there After the restaurant closed, there was no one on the grounds, other than another person staying there.

third floor apartmet by stairwell. no front desk. everything is done via text. keysystem broken, could not get into room, once in could not get back in. TV had two remotes without directions. No TV other than streaming free shows. Could not get TV to shut off completely..a picture of flowers played continually.

Lovely new accommodation, layout great, would stay again

Great location, very clean, fabulous accommodation for a family of 4. Staff friendly.

3 of us couldn’t work out how to use the shower so had to have a bath. The coffee pods didn’t produce coffee as the contents were rock hard.

I ended up paying $200 more than I set out to spend!

Beautiful

It was called a hotel but charged $150 cleaning fee, which I hadn’t realized until after I booked. Then, it was difficult to contact either the hotel or booking.com to try to negotiate an overall fee. Then I got a parking ticket, when the parking terms were also not clear.

Superb

Really nice bigger size room. I think was new ,all in wood and every detail match together! Love it ! .You don’t see this style very often in those mountain towns in small lodge or guest houses. They put really love in the look of the room and restaurant ! Comfortable bed , fridge and espresso mashing in room. Great restaurant for dinner. Great location ! Direct on Main Street. Personal in restaurant was excellent especially Tom and food was great ! There is also Taverna open for late dinner . Everyone was friendly and helpful .

Der parking was little tricky . You need register and we did for 24 hours but once you leave and come back you need do it again which no one tells you . Actually we got the info not to worry about but got 2 tickets . So be aware of that :)) Cleening - No problem for us but if you expect room be cleaned every night , that’s not the case. After you leave you pay 150$ one time for cleaning . Not sure if it’s different for longer stay. We spend 2 nights in the room.

The Carlin Hotel was the perfect place to enjoy our anniversary!

The Carlin Hotel just opened after an extensive remodel of the location. The room was absolutely beautiful and the balcony overlooking Main St had just enough trees to make it feel very private. We did not eat at the restaurant as I did not know that it had a sushi bar and extensive gluten free options when I booked the room. Yet, the chef spoke with us and was very helpful when we arrived. We did have drinks at the bar in the main restaurant and then at night in the underground bar with very friendly bartenders, a beautiful atmosphere and a manager that was very engaging and interested in our thoughts.

There was nothing to dislike.
