DO NOT STAY HERE!

Location was great, internal stairs lead to main street of Portofino.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We arrived 2hrs after the check-in time at 5pm. When we entered the room is hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant. We immediately called the manager, Matteo, via WhatsAp explaining the situation. I had to transfer the call to a video call during the conversation as he wasn't comprehending or believing what I was saying. He than asked to call me back in 5mins. He sent a message changing our apartment to the one above and gave me the lock box code for its keys. When we entered, it was a significantly inferior apartment, un-renovated with old furniture and decor. Nothing like the images on booking.com (which are obviously all of just the renovated apartment). Through multiple messages I requested the original apartment be cleaned, so we could occupy it asap. This was not possible and we were to remain in the old apartment for the night and then be transferred the next day, to the original apartment. I asked for compensation for the inferior accommodation for the night, this was denied and I was told if I wasn't happy to find somewhere else to stay! Totally unreasonable solution. Matteo was condescending and rude. Be aware! If you want the apartment depicted on booking.com ask for it specifically, or you will be deceived and placed in a way inferior product, for the same price. Plus the host is unreasonable. I lodged a complaint with booking.com during our stay and still nothing has been done regarding compensation for the property's mistake.

Absolutely loved Portofino.

Location was fantastic. Close to cafes, restaurants and the centre. Also a short walk from the bus stop.

No instructions in English for the washing machine to do laundry. Even tried google but no luck working it out. Guests staying in apartment above had party saturday night despite signs saying no parties permitted. So it can be noisy.

Great location but run down apartment

Location was top!

Very run down. Our bathroom had mould and no shower holder so had to hold the shower head to shower.

Great location but check the AC if you are visiting during chilling or cold period.

Location. It’s near to the square.

We couldn’t switch on the AC. The room was so cold and we had to sleep there for 3 nights. The staff was not responsive and helpful.

Apartment is not in good condition at all, lots of things broken. No information on how to check in was given by host until we contacted him later than listed check in time.

В самом сердце Портофино Вид из окна прелестный , апартаменты большие , уютные , не свежий ремонт

Заселили на 40 мин позже , так как уборка затянулась по времени. А пришли нас выселять на 30 мин раньше Очень шумно начиная с 6 утра. В целом все понравилось
