The decoration was cute enough but that was the almost only positive feature
They totally misrepresented the accomodation: the apartment is on the first floor and there is one room on each floor; even though it looks spacious in the pictures, the apartment is actually small and uncomfortable. It was dusty and stuffy even with the A/C on because there is only one window. The electric fixture were iffy at best and the wifi was unstable. The shower box was minimal and we found 2 spiders in the bathroom. And last but not least, it is scandalously overpriced (more than 1,000 euro for 3 days, more than double of what we paid for much larger and better apartments along the north of Italy. A very disappointing experience, so much so that we left a day early and gave them notice the night before; we expect a partial refund but Vicoletto people are saying the will "handle it through Booking.com". We are not sure what they mean and intend to submit a formal complaint. This is the first time I've had such a bad experience with accommodation booked thru Booking.com. Please advise on how to proceed.

The property is in a great location just steps from the harbor on a quiet street. It had the best shower I’ve had in Italy (great water pressure and plenty of hot water). Check in and check out were very quick and easy.
There is an extremely steep narrow staircase into the apartment. It’s kind of like stairs you’d find in a boat. The air conditioner is on the mezzanine level and does not cool off the sleeping loft. Providing an electric fan would have helped.

Location, natural light in the main space
Would recommend extra towels for guests staying more that 2 days

Amazing location minutes from the port. Really charming decor and unusual layout made a refreshing change from a hotel. Felt so authentic!
Not an issue but would have been good if air con was closer to bedroom area.

Lovely and cosy apartment right in the centre of Portofino. The apartment was very clean and had all necessary amenities available for a comfortable stay.
Considering the price of the accommodation, it was strange that we had to take the garbage to the collection point next to the parking lot.

We had an excellent stay at Vicoletto. The communication and attention from the managing team was fantastic. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and so close to the water, restaurants and shops. It was very clean, well styled. A MASSIVE perk is the washing machine which itself makes the booking worthwhile, especially when you are a couple of weeks into your trip!
We loved it! Anyone booking it should be aware that the stairs to enter the property are VERY steep which will make it difficult if you have heavy bags.

Sehr nette kleine Wohnung, sauber, zentral
Die Parkgebühren in Portofino sind absurd hoch. Unbedingt vorher informieren!
