About this apartment rental

Our Treme' Quartiers is a charming, spacious oasis in one of the most historic and exciting cities in the United States. The famous French Quarter is just minutes away by bike or uber! You will find everything you need in our Treme' Hideaway to make your New Orleans experience delightfully comfortable and authentic. In 2005, the Treme’ area was devastated by the infamous Hurricane Katrina. The home itself was a salvage project and was completely renovated. This home is much like the city of New Orleans itself— are scarred by Katrina but elegant, strong, vibrant and hauntingly beautiful.

Treme’ is just steps to the Dooky Chase restaurant made famous by Anthony Bordaine! Real southern soul and Cajun food served up in a truly historic venue. And, Gabrielle’s fine dining is just around the corner. Parkway Bakery is just a 5 minute drive for award-winning “po-boys”. Minutes to the French Quarter! Rent or just bring a bicycle and bike the Lafitte greenway to the French Quarter, Bayou St. John or the botanical wonder of City Park. Or, spend a sultry New Orleans evening having drinks and al fresco dining on the balcony porch which offers an amazing view of the city. Retire to the living room deep blue velvet couch and Amazon Fire tv — a great way to unwind after a day of touring in the city. Our kitchen is fully equipped so you can try your hand at cooking up French Cajun cuisine. There is room for 6 to dine in style. Retreat to private bedrooms each equipped with 50” smart tv's and cool comfortable memory foam for the ultimate in relaxation. Wake refreshed for another exciting day of discovery in the city.

New Orleans is always an exciting time! The culture of New Orleans is a rich and storied tapestry unique in all the world. Enjoy tours in the French quarter -- the Treme’ and ghost tours are especially fun. Everyone should visit Bourbon Street which dates back to 1718 for a peek into the history of the city when the French royal family ruled (The Bourbon Family). Now, it is the home of New Orleans Musical Legends Park -- a free, outdoor venue for live jazz performances. Marie Laveau's House of Voodoo is located on the corner of St. Ann Street in the French Quarter. Take one of the boat tours to experience the swamp and local wildlife -- especially alligators. Savor the dining experience in New Orleans -- the most unique and critically acclaimed food in the world can be found here.

Three friends did an annual meet-up for Jazz Fest. Thishistoric old house has been nicely redone, and was veryclean and comfortable. It was perfect for walking to the fairgrounds every day and there were eateries close by as well. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was extremely well stocked. Bathrooms were spotless and stocked with good towels. It was perfect for us!!

My family and I agree that this has been the best stay we’ve experienced in New Orleans. Janine and David were fantastic hosts and ensured we had everything we needed. Thank you again for opening your home to us while we experienced Mardi Gras.

The owners are great. At check-in, they offered an in-person tour of the home and provided advice regarding things to do in the area...not sure if everyone can get that, but I appreciated it. The home is newly/nicely renovated with great amenities and off-street/secure parking. We were actually comfortable walking most places (day/night), but bring good shoes if you do. Bourbon street was about 1.5 miles/35 minutes away. You are required to navigate some steps to get into the home and get to/from 2 of the 3 bedrooms...shouldn't be an issue for most people. Privacy is great for 2 couples...one can have the the entire downstairs and the other have upstairs. I definitely plan to stay again.
