The house was beautiful with gorgeous high ceilings and an accommodating downstairs bedroom. Close enough to get to everything easily and far enough away to be a great retreat when we were done exploring for the day.

Pros- Huge property with tons of space. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for family.- Stocked kitchen with dishes and utensils for cooking.- Great outdoor space with TV and grill. - lots of towels and blankets and pillows Cons- the place was a little dusty (baseboards, window sills, etc). I think it could have just needed a good painting rather than truly being dirty. - the neighborhood is very rundown. At times, it felt a little unsafe. It is about a 15 minute uber downtown (2 mile walk). - there were two cockroaches in the kitchen. The host sprays for these every month. It seems they are unavoidable in New Orleans, especially when it rains.

Nice, big house with plenty of room to spread out. We were there for Jazzfest, which was an easy and shady 25 minute walk away through Mid City. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean with nice linens. The kitchen area was big enough to cook and eat in, but who would do that in NOLA? We only had 6 people, but this house was big enough for many more. The outdoor space was enjoyable. Easy communication and checkin. We would rent here again!
