5 Mi to French Quarter: Central NOLA Home w/ Decks

Spacious ,close to everything , good neighborhood

Great location. Easy to get to landmarks in the city.

There seemed to be remodeling going on. Very out dated furnishings in the home.

We stayed here with a group of eight and, overall, the house worked well for us. There are five bedrooms, though note that the three upstairs share a single bathroom. The AC worked well and we never ran out of hot water for showers or dishes. The location is near the French Quarter, though we still needed to drive in and park.

The house is dated from the 80s, and so are the towels. Each bathroom had only one extra roll of toilet paper, and there were no backup paper towels. To the owner's credit, he brought over more quickly when I asked. The dishwasher was broken, so we washed a lot of dishes by hand. All of the house signs are handwritten in Sharpie and taped up. There was also construction on the street, so we couldn't drive to the house or park in the driveway. I know the owner has no control over that, but a heads-up beforehand would have been nice, along with consideration for a discount.
