This remodeled apt is very much centrally located in the middle of New Orleans. It is 8-10 minute walking distance to main Freret St for bars, restaurants, shops, a music venue, grocery store, and more. You are 4 minutes from interstate access, 8-10 minute drive to the Superdome & Smoothie King Center (arenas for the Saints & Pelicans), 5 minute walk to the nearest hospital, & 3-5 minute drive to post office… you get the gist.
From the street, you go through the side gate, walk the length of the house into a patio area. The apartment is one side of a typical New Orleans double shot gun (one side of duplex). You enter through the door at the back of the house, into the newly remodeled kitchen. From the kitchen you progress into the bedroom, where you can kick off your shoes and plop right onto you comfortable Sleep Number, queen bed. Past the bedroom is a small hallways with full bathroom with lots of cabinet space & shower/bath tub combo. Continuing on, you enter the Living/Dining room. If you have a short term guest, there is a day bed/sofa, with a trundle twin size bed.
You will have a neighbor on the other side of the duplex. They are a friendly, professional, couple that has lives in New Orleans from about 10 years. They have lived at the property for 2 years.
