Fleur & Oak Cottage is a private, stand-alone studio cottage in Uptown New Orleans, designed for monthly stays of 30 nights or more. Come and go as you please, with your own secure entrance, a full-size kitchen and a private patio on historic Napoleon Avenue.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
You're steps from Freret Street restaurants, bars and coffee shops, five blocks from the St. Charles streetcar, and half a block from a bus stop. The streetcar passes the famous St. Charles Avenue mansions on its way to Canal Street and the French Quarter. Audubon Park, the Audubon Zoo and Magazine Street shopping are a short ride away, and there's a park and playground in the next block. Free street parking is easy to find, so a car is optional.
FESTIVALS AND MARDI GRAS
Mardi Gras Day parades roll right past the end of our driveway, and the other Uptown parades are five blocks away. A monthly stay is a wonderful way to experience the holidays, Carnival season, Jazz Fest and the city's many festivals.

I stayed here for a full month and couldn't have been happier! This place comes sparkling clean and has all the amenities you could want or need. I could've easily been comfortable for even longer! The bed is amazingly comfortable also (and I have a very sensitive back!). Super quiet, you can sleep in (or not!) as much as you want here. Karl and Monika are amazing hosts and are quick to respond to any questions. The neighborhood is safe and there are great bars and restaurants in short walking distance that are great neighborhood places, if you're looking to avoid the bourbon street madness. Parking is abundant and everything you need is within a couple of miles. Starbucks ~5 mins, rouses grocery ~ 7 mins, fresh market ~7 mins, all the bars and restaurants you need on freret st. ~10 mins walking, ~3 mins driving. Being in a detached cottage in the back also provides privacy so you feel like you have this cozy little new orleans oasis all to yourself! Amazing find, definitely book this place!

Monika and Karl were wonderful hosts. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and well appropriated. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cottage was easy to find and centrally located to lots of amazing food and shopping! We will definitely be back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the uptown cottage. The location was central to many restaurants and a very easy walking distance to the streetcar. The cottage itself was cozy, comfortable, and inviting. Monika and Karl were great hosts and we hope to visit again soon.
