The deck on the backside of the cabin is amazing! We set up some camping chairs and hung out on the deck for hours enjoying the nature around us. A heard of deer visited the front yard every morning. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. There's a basement in the cabin that can double as a secondary living space, if you have teenagers wanting to do their own thing. Area was quiet and secluded.

Cannot say enough great things about our stay. This was our 4th booking with our host Charlie at the A-Frame. It is the best cabin around the Patoka Lake area. Words like quit, nature, private, and beautiful inside and out come to mind. Very comfortable for two couples. And plenty of room for a family. There is even parking for your boat. it is only a 10 minute drive to a marina, state park, brewery, distillery, and winery with only a 3 minute drive to the closest boat ramp. Don't miss out on this one! Thanks Charlie! See you again next year.

Cannot say enough great things about this A-Frame cabin. This was our 3rd stay, with another already scheduled for September. It is quiet, clean, private, and has beautiful views! It is close to marinas, Patoka lake boat ramps, winery, distillery, brewery, and restaurants. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. There is no reason to not book this place! My friends and I had a Girl’s weekend. This cabin was perfect, had everything we needed. We rented a boat at the Hoosier Hills marina, which was about a 10 minute drive. Went over and checked out the Patoka Lake brewery. We also drove up to French Lick and had great time.

Everything was very nice, the cabin itself and the area around it are beautiful. It has good wifi, a smart TV, and plenty of outlets in each room. The cabin is tucked away in a nice little corner and surrounded by trees, it was a very private area, which was an important factor for me. The check in process was easy, and the owners were very accommodating :)Highly recommend, would stay again!

The owners definitely undersell this place in their listing - it was perfect for what we needed! A quiet location at the end of a private drive, surrounded by the woods, was a great location for a relaxing trip away from the city. Charlie and Audrey also provided great tips on where to rent a boat for the Lake, as well as a list of nearby bait shops, stores and places to grab some grub. We’d definitely be willing to stay here again!

The two of us (and dog) stayed for two nights. The cabin is very nicely finished. We only needed the main floor but there is a very comfortable loft and large downstairs area with outside access. The porch on the main floor is very large and got nice sun all day. We didn't see anyone else the entire time which made it nice to let the dog run free. It was a very relaxing two days and we will come back again.

This is our 2nd time renting the cabin for a visit with family who lives in the area. The location and size are great for our needs. Things to be noted are the staircases are very narrow spiral staircases to the loft and also the basement. Not conducive for anyone with mobility issues. Sound also travels from the loft to the basement with even the slightest movements. I suggest bringing a fan to help with the noise. It was very dusty this stay and lots of cobwebs. We just chalked it up to maybe it had been awhile since the last guests and dusted as necessary. There were also lots of lady bugs to be picked up and disposed of. Overall, with the few small inconveniences, we would stay again and recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

The stay was great, we were playing golf in French Lick and the property owners allowed us to park a car there before we checked in! The property was in great shape and the property owners were always in communication with us. I definitely will be back to stay and recommend everyone else to book this property!
