Nestled atop a serene hill in Placitas, New Mexico, this spectacular 3-bedroom retreat promises breathtaking views, exceptional comfort, and an unforgettable stay for up to 6 to 8 guests. Perfect for families, groups, or remote workers seeking a peaceful backdrop, our home combines the charm of traditional adobe architecture with modern amenities.

This property now features Starlink high-speed internet, providing fast and reliable connectivity. Additionally, if your mobile carrier supports it, cell phones can operate over Wi-Fi for enhanced connectivity__ perfect for staying connected with family, friends, or work during your stay.
The roomy primary bedroom includes a king bed with a super comfy mattress and a 40" TV. Adjacent, an auxiliary space, ideal for children or close friends, features a trundle bed for 2—doubling as a cozy daytime couch. There's no door between these rooms, creating an open, inviting feel.
The second bedroom, situated downstairs, offers another plush king bed, and a 40 Inch television. Step out onto the adjoining deck for panoramic vistas of the undulating Placitas hills.
The third upstairs room houses a cozy queen bed. All rooms are equipped with individual thermostats for radiant heating, keeping you warm during chilly desert nights. Please adjust slowly to your desired temperature as radiant heating takes time to adapt.
The inviting living room is complete with a 65" smart TV, comfortable seating on a Three-person couch and swivel chairs, along with workspace behind the couch. Built-in adobe benches encircle the fireplace.
Fully equipped kitchen, where wood block counters, ample storage, and high-quality appliances await. Enjoy home-cooked meals in the dining area that accommodates 8 guests across two separate tables.
The back balcony offers stunning Placitas views for quiet moments or group dining at the patio table seating 6 to 8 guests.
The home comes furnished with bed linens, a coffee maker, cookware, dishes and silverware, and a hair dryers. Stay connected with high-speed Internet and a strong Wi-Fi signal (great for Wi-Fi calling, given the area's limited cell phone service). For your convenience, we provide a washer and dryer in a common space.

Guest Access:
You'll have private access to the entire home except for a cabinet in laundry room that is used by the cleaning staff.
Our home is pet-friendly, welcoming dogs only (up to 40 pounds each). We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per reservation, with a pet fee of $250 per pet. No other pet types are permitted.
We also offer an exclusive add-on feature: Hot Tub Heating at $100 per stay. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for the hot tub to fully heat, so we recommend booking in advance.

Exploring picturesque Placitas is an adventure. As our home is in a rural area accessed by a dirt road, a personal vehicle is recommended for convenient exploration at your own pace.
With a personal vehicle, you can embrace Placitas' natural beauty and culture, from a quick trip to town to exploring the Sandia Mountains, biking trails, or the town center—your Placitas journey is as rewarding as the destination.
From late October through mid-March, we may receive the occasional snow storm. To ensure your safety and ease of navigation, you may wish to consider a 4x4 vehicle for this period. With a suitable vehicle, you'll be well-prepared to traverse the scenic, rolling terrain of Placitas. Numerous car rentals are available in Albuquerque including Avis, Enterprise Rent a car and Budget.

This is a lovely, well-maintained home with amazing views. The kitchen has nearly everything you might need, just add the edible ingredients. The host was very responsive when we couldn't find the house (more on that below) and had other questions that weren't covered in their binder of information. This property is far out - hence the amazing views - but further than we anticipated. It was quite unsettling when GPS stopped before we found the house but turned out we just needed to stay on the path a little further. Once in the house, everything was fine. We had a delightful stay.

We had a wonderful stay. This property was clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. The location was great, and we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the outdoor spaces. Even saw a wild horse grazing near the house!Would recommend most highly!

Beautiful, professionally managed, tastefully decorated. The hot tub wasn't all that; it is out on a dirt area. The area for the dog is not fully fenced. The last bit of the road in was pretty rough. But I would definitely recommend.

This is one of the absolute best VRBOs we’ve had the opportunity to visit over the past decade. It is similar to a boutique hotel in appearance and amenities. The home is state-of-the art, modern, clean, well furnished and well appointed. We (2 senior adults) stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and wished we had booked longer. It is very quiet and peaceful, with amazing views and excellent star gazing. It is a short drive down the mountain to a small commercial area with a coffee shop, convenience store, pizza, and a restaurant. It was a pleasant drive to both Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
