5 minute walk to Old Town Plaza, Great location for your, Family Sized home

Our stay was very comfortable. The house was clean and check in was easy.

Earl‘s property was ideal for us. We were three women traveling so we could each have our own bedroom which was great. The location was perfect, we could walk to old town and the art museum, which were the two places we were spending time. I love the historic photographs of his family that he put in his welcome book. He told us about the history of the house as a family house and it really had a nice feel. I could imagine the generations that lived in the house. I appreciated that there weren’t too many knickknacks around the place, just enough to make you feel welcome. The air conditioned worked well, although it took a little bit of time for the upstairs to cool down. We enjoyed the patio for breakfast in the mornings. And a bonus to me was the very large TV in the living room, where I could sign into my account and watch the World Cup games! The recliners in the living room were very comfortable. Earl was responsive and went out of his way to quickly mail me the set of keys I accidentally locked in the house.

Big rooms and beds so our family could spread out! Close to Old Town and the art museum, plus great restaurants! Loved the deck! And so great to have an iron and a board plus washer/dryer accessible!

Pros - good location, well supplied, easy checkinCons- House looks shabby and needs a deep cleaning and new paint, updating. Bathrooms not really clean.Furniture looks like a garage sale. The sheets were old and thin and the towels were old and dingy. Bedspread on king size bed was horrible, although there was nicer stuff in closet. I saw a cockroach in the kitchen. Had to take batteries out of one of the smoke detectors as it kept beeping. We were asked to strip beds, clean stove and dishes, take out trash. This really bugs me when we are paying a cleaning fee
