Bee Cottage Negombo

This cottage was probably the best accommodations we booked for our Sri Lanka trip, mainly due to the attentiveness and just genuine caring nature of the hosts. My Wife had her birthday while we were here (not planned as we were due to be home before this but the war in the middle east happened) and the hosts helped me plan and execute a surprise decoration of the cottage and a cake which I will be eternally grateful for. The cottage itself has absolutely everything you would ever need for a stay. I could not recommend this place enough.

De hosts Anton en zijn vrouw waren behulpzaam, meedenkend en warm. Goed bereikbaar en waren oprecht geïnteresseerd in ons. De accommodatie heeft alles voor een comfortabel verblijf. Van zwembad tot prima bedden. De slaapkamers zijn voorzien van airco en een plafondventilator. De overige ruimtes zijn voorzien van een fan. Buiten is er een grote tuin met prachtige planten en een aantal landschildpadden. Voor de was hebben ze een wasmachine en een droogrek. Fietsen zijn kosteloos te gebruiken.

Keuken is vrij compleet, al zou een broodroostertje erg fijn zijn.

Bee Cottage is a peaceful little oasis in Negombo. The cottage is spotless, spacious, and set in a beautiful garden with a lovely pool. The host is warm and welcoming, making the stay feel truly special. Perfect location and excellent hospitality — highly recommended!
