Great place, would stay again.

Property was big and spacious, beds were comfortable and bedding was so soft. Plenty of space on the kitchen and loads of places to sit and relax, Hot tub was definitely a favourite of the group. Would stay again and would recommend to a big group. Paul and Claire the hosts were lovely and very accommodating.

Only issue we had was the oven took quite a long time to cook food, I would bring an airfryer if I was to stay again.

Perfect stay at The Gap!

We recently stayed at The Gap and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was spotless throughout and really spacious for us all to enjoy as a larger family group. Hot tub was an added bonus.Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay to make memories with the family

Very spacious, loved the kitchen and sun room and hot tub. There are three en-suite rooms which were great especially with large family staying.

Perfect

Paul and Clare were such kind and welcoming hosts! They came round to show us everything we needed to make sure we got the most out of our stay. The house is gorgeous, private and very clean, all the rooms are large in size and beds were very very comfortable! If I could rate it higher than a 10 I would! We will most definitely be back. Thank you very much!!

Phenomenal big house with amazing hosts!

This was an absolutely brilliant stay. We came here for a friends 30th and it was a fantastic base for us to celebrate! The host was so friendly when we met to get the keys and gave a clear explanation of the whole property. The house itself goes on forever - so much space and great for a big gathering! The hot tub was perfect with lots of room and was toasty hot. The hosts were super responsive, dropping us off the bbq grill when requested and also on a separate trip, dropping us off a speaker as they thought we could use it for the evening which was so kind! Honestly could not have had a better place to stay, huge thanks to Clare and Paul for the hospitality.

Couples Group Weekend

This house is fantastic for big groups. There was great space indoors and outdoors, with enough seating for everyone. The hosts were really flexible and made us feel welcome when they arrived to show us around. There were plenty of facilities. As a group we cannot wait to come back!

Spacious accomodation, well positioned with lovely hosts

We were so happy to find this amazing accomodation for a family reunion - a group of 12. The house is so spacious with the amazing kitchen area for socilaizing. The hot tub and BBQ were a treat too. Clare and Paul were wonderful hosts - extremely helpful with knowledge and advice about local restaurants and things to do. It is a peaceful and private property yet close enough to access so many wonderful sites (by car), an excellent, central base to explore Northern Ireland. Thank you for having us - we hope to return some day!

The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and ensure you know everything you need. They even called up one of the days to put up the gazebo, it was great attaching it to the hot tub area. There is a large outdoor table and chairs and bbq. Everyone commented on how comfy the mattress , pillow and bed in general was. The house seems to have been redecorated and is just amazing. Everything you need is there, facilities amazing. The hot tub is class, it's large and has lights and speakers. There is a very large kitchen dining room with an attached sun room again equipped with everything, including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. We stayed in that space most of the time as there was no need to use the big living room. There are 2 shared bathrooms and 4 rooms have ensuits so no one waiting on a loo or a shower the whole time. Would deffo recommend and would return again. .

Perfect getaway

Very nice, clean, spacious house. 3 en suite bedrooms, 1 room with 2 double beds and 4 bedrooms sharing the main bathroom - plenty of privacy. New jacuzzi was amazing and stayed hot all the time while in use. Beds very comfortable. It was raining during our stay but the owners provided us with a pergola so we could have a BBQ. The BBQ was great and the food was ready quickly. Amenities were excellent, linen, plates, cutlery, TV, music speaker - all these things added to our comfort. Asda 20 minutes drive from the house. The owners were very kind and helpful, they provided everything we needed. We were welcomed with a lovely cheese board which made us feel special. I cannot express enough how amazing our stay at Gap Retreat was, especially the jacuzzi, it was amazing quality and everyone loved it. If you're thinking of booking this house for a group getaway, I wouldn't hesitate any longer. Paul and Clare - thank you so much for everything.

Wonderful house in a scenic location

Beautifully clean and very large house. We collected the keys from Paul who was really helpful and gave us lots of information on the local area. The location was really quiet with a lovely big garden. We loved the huge kitchen with everything we needed to cook. The Hot Tub was clearly new and brilliant for chilling with a glass of wine. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had a lovely walk around Loughmacrory which was only five minutes away. Overall the house had everything we needed and we can't wait to book another trip. Thank you for the thoughtful bread and milk.
