Appartement avec vue sur le port

Lovely big apt, bright. Good clothes storage. Nice view of the canal. Not noisy at night. Very conveniently located for main town and also for bus to beach only 3km away.

Nothing.

The kitchen is nicely equipped, including an American style drip coffee-maker, which is unusual in France, in my experience. The view of the grand canal is very nice, especially sunrise. The bed is comfortable and the apartment is very spacious. A/C works great and kept the flat at a nice temperature. Street parking is not realistic but Parking du Canal nearby is extremely convenient and secure. Lots of great food options within walking distance, just stay away from the touristy canal zone.

The instructions said that Pierre would meet me at the property upon arrival. I kept in close contact with him and let him know of my anticipated arrival time in advance. I also contacted him as soon as we were enroute and let him know precisely what time I would arrive. This was all through the booking.com messaging platform. When I arrived he was not there. I waited a bit and I messaged him, he did not respond. I called the phone number on the booking confirmation and there was no answer but I left a voicemail. I waited a bit longer. I then looked up the phone number in WhatsApp and found that it was listed there so I sent another message through WhatsApp. Shortly after that Pierre responded to me in WhatsApp with instructions to access the keys through a lockbox. This should have been provided in advance, we shouldn't have had to stand outside the apartment waiting as long as we did. The water pressure in the shower is very weak and the door doesn't close all the way so water leaks all over the floor.
