It’s a very peaceful location with beautiful views and overall a very relaxed and homely experience.
If you are booking at a time when the pool is closed there’s limited things for the kids to do. We didn’t realise this at the time of booking as the information stated the pool was open (an error). When we contacted the property they were responsive and agreed to a partial refund.

Lovely wee house, set in a nice estate. All mod cons available. Warm and cosy. Nice walks around the local area while being handy to visit York.

It was a home from home. Warm, cosy, and had almost everything we needed for a lovely stay, in a great location. We'll be back.
The shower wasn't the most high powered and struggled to stay at a warm temperature.
