About this house rental
Four double ensuite bedrooms, all of which can be separated into singles. Single storey. Spacious, comfy living area with large dining table and a very well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher. There are views from the spacious patio, with bbq and ample walks close by. Use of a shared, seasonal pool, grass tennis court and croquet lawn, all open between the end of May and August.

Such a historic venue, so peaceful if a bit remote. 5-10 minutes to get to the main road. Easy to find though, postcode satnav takes you right to the property with well signed directions when there.
The property and grounds were immaculate, added bonus of an outside plug at parking to trickle charge an electric vehicle.

Excellent property in a beautiful & peaceful setting. Garden House was very well equipped & very comfortable. Hosts helpful & pleasant . We enjoyed our stay there.

Absolutely amazing stay in the Garden House. The photos don't do it justice, a great space for relaxing, catching up with friends and partying. We were a group of 8, and having separate beds with all bedrooms with ensuite was ideal. There is a fabulous terrace but also access to the pool, tennis and croquet lawn as well as lovely walks from the front door. We had planned to go into York on the evening, but decided to stay at the house, as it was so lovely. We left feeling that the place had added a new special dimension to what would have been a lovely get together anyway and would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Wonderfully furnished cottage, in a beautiful setting! Very homely, spotlessly clean and modern.
Well looked after by the hosts, who were kind and helpful. Truly lovely experience!
