The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room and dining area were comfortable, clean and well presented. The room had a nice view of the town and the shower was great! It was a perfect location for visiting Bletchley Park.
We were quite concerned prior to our arrival because we were unable to make any contact with the hotel in the week before. The phone wasn't answered and there was no response to emails or social media messages. We did eventually get a call after a plea for help to a local Facebook group and a complaint to Booking.com.

WE HAD NONE SEE BELOW
We paid for breakfast it was advised to us the evening before breakfast till 12pm
We went down at 10.15am to be told there is no breakfast finished at 9.30am
To then see them serving breakfast to others. I confused went to get my case and came back to the area where breakfast was which is also next to reception to see breakfast being ordered ?? I queried again to be sure - and the member of staff was rude and shouted ' They are paying customer's -' And I confirmed this was the case for me and my partner too and she said for hotel its cancelled
This was an additional £20.00 and we ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dinner

Lovely hotel in a great position.
The rooms are lovely and spacious.
Will always stay here when in Stony.
Church bells on a Sunday morning can disturb your sleep, especially if you sleep with the window open.

The room was amazing and very clean. The staff were very good and the breakfast was also good.
Can be a tad noisy from the bar below but not an issue for us.

It was in a fantastic location for our event and loads of shops and other pubs on the same street - literally. Staff were lovely and very helpful - breakfast far exceeded our expectations in size - neither myself nor my partner managed to finish it. Private parking was a god send too especially being under cover due to the severe weather conditions
The property itself was lovely - however we were opposite the church which chimed every 15 minutes once at quarter past twice at half past three times at quarter to and four times for the hour - followed by more chimes on the hour to denote what hour it was. I took myself into the bathroom for the night in the end and shut the door as everytime I started to nod off the chimes woke me back up. That said it would have been the same I’m sure at any of the other hotels on the same street. Not the hotels fault obviously but just something to be mindful of

Staff were very friendly, both booking in and at breakfast.
Fresh milk for tea rather than UHT and a lift to the 2nd floor

My home from home. Love the grandeur of the rooms. It’s a lovely hotel.
If the pub served food at night. I have to go elsewhere but it’s not a big issue

The location was great, and the hotel is a lovely, historic building that has clearly had a lot of money spent on it. The breakfast staff were really efficient and friendly, with the actual breakfast being extremely good! Car parking was easy, and the bar (not in the same building) was quirky, busy and efficient.
The phone number advertised on the hotels website, booking.com and Google was unobtainable. I sent an email with a question, but received no reply. But worse than this, the level of cleanliness in our room (101) was appalling. Thick dust on all surfaces, and it looked like a vacuum cleaner hasn't been anywhere near the skirting board in a long time. The bathroom floor was really bad, and the shower doors were thick with filth. Our friends were in room 102, which was not as bad as ours. It was a shame our room was so dirty, as the breakfast and staff were so nice!

Lively pub, great location and very welcoming period hotel property. Decent breakfast and great staff in pub and hotel.
The mattresses appeared to be new, but quite hard. Lovely sash windows but needed better cleaning.

Great central location to historic Soney, however....
No reception in hotel and no one in the building when I arrived. Eventually found the bar in an adjacent building. New staff did not know location of staff. My room directly opposite church which woke me at 4am with hourly bell ringing and then every 15 minutes so no sleep after 4. At 7 there was some kind of delivery on the street outside of my bedroom window which lasted 15+ minutes and would wake the dead!!! And, the bar closed before 10 so had to find somewhere else for a beer!!

Lovely place, good location, clean, comfy and friendly staff.
Could have had more items for the guest breakfast, i.e. pastries, fruit, yogurt, toast machine.
A do not disturb/make up room sign would be helpful along with an iron.

Good location with off street parking. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good and served quickly in the morning. Comfy room with all the facilities you need.
I think I was unlucky with the room placement. The Bull Hotel is an old Coaching Inn and room 205 overlooks the passageway through the middle. The windows do not close properly and everyone from the pub downstairs were enjoying themselves until 12:30 at which point I could then sleep. There was then bins being moved and noise that unfortunately woke me up early in the morning.

The Hotel is "old British Style" but in excellent conditions
The check-in needs to be done to the adjacent pub... I was waiting 5' to the unattended reception, Then I called the Hotel to know what to do...

The quirky building was full of great information and pictures/photos detailing the history
The check in process was frustrating as after a long trip you would assume you would check in at the hotel, but no you have to go to the pub next door. Directions to the car park would have been useful in advance.

The Hotel was in a nice place. Room size was good. Staff and breakfast was great.
Room carpet needed to be vacuumed better. Bathroom sink, toilet and shower were clean but bathroom floor was filthy. Big shame as small changes could make this a great stay.

The Bull Inn was a great place to stay, as it had lots of history. Great place to stay as it’s in the centre of Stony Stratford , walk out to places to eat .
We liked everything.

More than exceeded our expectations. Lots of places to eat and live music in lots of venues.

Lovely hotel in Stoney Stratford. Spacious room and shower. The breakfast was lovely. Hotel is right in the middle of the town.
The only problem was it was a Saturday night and there was a garden party on in the courtyard of the pub. It was extremely noisy until 1am even though the party finished at 10pm. Everyone was having a great time but they all congregated at the front of the hotel, right underneath our window. Such a shame, it spoilt an otherwise great stay. We would stay again but would make sure to check there was no event happening before we book.

Bathroom a bit poor and not great tea/coffee options

Location was perfect. Right on the high street and walking distance from restaurants etc.
Unfortunately my room was situated right over the alleyway which people were smoking, drinking & chatting in which meant I was unable to have my bedroom window open because of the noise and smell. It is a beautiful little cobbled alleyway which is made for drinking in, it's just a shame my room was right over it.

It was very close to a wedding venue. There was off street parking. Able to check in early and get ready for the wedding early. Very attentive & helpful staff
The double was only a 3/4 size, so we had to ask for the sofa bed and be made up, however that was extremely uncomfortable . We also woke up to a pigeon in our room!

It was in a very nice high street and the building had a lot of character. The cooked breakfast was good. It was a good location for us to.
The room wasn’t very clean. The water pressure was very poor, I struggled to have a warm shower, it either went off completely or went cold. I didn’t attempt to wash my hair!
There was a lot of outside noise from the pubs around and about and the church opposite chimed all night , so we didn’t sleep well,
