Sterke schimmel in de eetkamer Bed was niet super

The stay was great and very value for money, located quite near to the beach. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-sized.

Customer service with Sykes Cottage was awful, unfortunately. I messaged them multiple times for like ten days to get the answer to a single question - if it was possible for them to hold onto our luggage post check-out as our train wasn’t for another couple hours and we had a boat ride in between. When they finally responded after a week of messaging, they let me know they could definitely hold onto our luggage, and if we could just drop it off at their office. Which was great - but they neglected to mention that their offices are closed on Sundays - the day we were checking out. So on the day we checked out, we went all the way to their office with all our luggage to find it closed and the provided phone number unresponsive. We had to find an alternate solution last-minute while carrying all the heavy luggage back and forth, and cutting it very close for time, which was extremely stressful.
