Welcome to Here Comes the Sun(set), hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This stunning waterfront cottage is located in the Point Beach area of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. Completely renovated in 2018, this home combines modern comforts with Door County's rustic charm. The property features 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests.
Additional amenities include a well-equipped workspace with a desk and chair for remote work, and entertainment options such as Direct TV, streaming services on 4 Smart TVs, a DVD player, and a selection of books and games.

Water shoes recommended due to slippery rocks
Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Dock is installed seasonally (installed approx Memorial Day weekend and taken out mid-October)

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.

Great location just a few minutes from the Egg Harbor shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed, including a lot of games and activities that kept our kids entertained. Loved sitting out by the lake and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets.

I can't say enough about the property! It's not just the house itself - right on the water, peaceful neighborhood, close to town - but the amenities. The house is equipped with everything you need and then some. I would recommend adding on the bikes and kayaks for the additional cost - they were used daily by the teenagers!
We had a an extended family of 9 (ranging in age from 83 to 12) for most of the week with some additional members joining for the last 2 nights and we never lacked supplies or space!
As for the owner, Trevor is so easy to work with and extremely responsive! He reached out on the day of check in to make sure the process went smoothly and to see if we had any questions.
I would rate higher if I could and fully intend on returning next year...if not sooner! While the vacation only lasted a week, the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you!
