The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The property was clean, warm and comfy. It had everything I needed with plenty of attention to detail and was like home from home. The continental breakfast was better than most of the hotels I have stayed in over rhe past number of years. There was ampel parking and it was nice and quiet and close to town.

What an amazing stay with Charlie and Mary! Charlie was so welcoming and made sure I was all settled in - a truly perfect host. The cottage was delightful, clean, and well stocked with everything one could need, including the most delicious breakfast items. It was then a short 10 minute trip to the Rock of Cashel on the morning of check out - an ideal place to stay to arrive there for gate opening as there was only a handful there at that time. Wish I could have stayed longer in the little oasis that is Oak Cottage but off to do more exploring of Ireland! Thank you once again for the wonderful stay.
It was just a little chilly in the cottage (but maybe I didn’t have the heaters fully on) and it’s always Irish autumn so one expects these things - so doesn’t dampen my review at all. 10/10 - cannot recommend more highly.

It is a very nice spot. Very clean.
Great breakfast options. The layout of the space is very nice and efficient. The host was also very nice.
It is very clean, and to that point they use some kind of disinfectant in the sheets that has a strong perfume/ chemical smell, and I was unable to sleep, because I am sensitive to smells. If you are someone who is sensitive to heavy scents of cleaning products I would not recommend it.
Otherwise a very nice place!
