MGM Signature-07-620 1Br 2Ba Balcony Suite

I loved this suite!! I travel by myself, so I definitely loved the security and the safety setup! I appreciated the whirlpool bath the most! The appliances, furnishing and view were great! Check in and out was a breeze, and I appreciated that the host reached out to check if everything was all right. The walk to the MGM Grand lazy river pool is about 5 minutes and to the casino 8. In the afternoon the bar in tower 1 is open and happy hour is 3 to 5 :) The bartender Andrea is wonderful and a great way to start the evening events. It was a quiet suite, with a comfy bed and a view of the MGM Grand lazy river. Highly recommend!! I am planning on staying here again next year.

I didn't like that I had to carry lotion with me because of the dry air.

Found coloring books in the desk and it hadn't been gone through really well. Staff was not super helpful when we asked for extra blankets and pillows.

The location was excellent and central to everything. We could also take the monorail to most places that we wanted to visit. Valet was very convenient. While it didn’t have laundry in the room, if you stay over seven days, you get access to the laundry facility, which was extremely convenient. The pools were a lot of fun, especially the lazy river. The room that we stayed in faced the pool and we got great views of the fireworks. Overall, the resort had excellent accommodations. The room refresh was also very nice, which we were only able to have one time because the room was privately owned, which would’ve been nice to have included in the description. While traveling with the children, it was very nice for us to have two bathrooms. We had a total of 4 closets and plenty of space to store clothing and shoes. The desk in the bedroom was functional. The air conditioning worked wonderfully.

The kitchen was not fully stocked. This was significant for us, traveling as a family who wanted to cook regularly. There were only two adult forks, and two small forks. There were no wine glasses and no wine openers. The cooking supplies and utensils were extremely limited (wish there was a blender). We only received two dishwasher pods for a stay of eight days and a very small dish soap that ran out. There was one trash bag that was left for an entire eight day stay. The TV in the living room would inconsistently load the guide and the intro screen.

We enjoyed the shared amenities, especially free valet. The pool also was nice. The room itself was very spacious which was nice. Liked it had all the basics ( fridge, microwave etc).

We were disappointed by the cleanliness of the room in general. The pull out couch was extremely old and uncomfortable. Felt absolutely horrible to make our son sleep on it for 5 days. Then the blanket was dirty- The first night, I had to shower but no hot water. And we could hear the music coming from outside so it always sounded like there was a club next to us. Our last day, early 7-8ish, alarms went off in the hotel but it didn’t shut off for a while.
