Fair price and enough space as short stay place.

The location very close with supermarkt if we want to buy food to warm/cook in the property. Not far from centrum. We like the B&b. Not too big and not too small. It's perfect to be around with each other.

The min point from us maybe the air feels like the room not being used too often and they need open the window occasionally to let fresh air come inside, so when we step inside it doesn't smell like old empty room .

Disappointing place

The location was nice, as it was in a quiet and beautiful setting

Where do I start? Here is a summary of issues: - Cleanliness (tap, sink, cobwebs on standing lamp) - Water cooker full of lime residue - Milk expired since july 2025! Health issue - Internet hardly existing - Tv constantly interrupting due to signal - No mini bar (even though mentioned in the rules and regulations) - General impression: apartment looks old and outdated - Rule book sounds military - More rules than making your guests welcome - Off-putting rules - Apartment had a mould smell when entering, proving that it had not been used for a while - Dust on drawers - Hdmi cable in the tv without being connected - Only 1 coffee pod whereas 2 people booked - Not a very welcoming impression

Peaceful, but needs some minor improvement

It was a peaceful and quiet location

The owner used a side door that has access to the living room of the booked space (which can be locked from his side only). The bedroom is upstairs and has a part of the wall missing, and from there, you can see straight into the living room (because of that, you get cold air from downstairs) I recommend to have a pair of slippers with you.

Nice pleace but not for me

Comfortable bed

I liked the apartment. It was clean and comfortable, but a few things made me feel unwelcome. There was a note in the bathroom asking to leave it clean and use the brush. I found a similar note in the kitchen. I travel regularly and have never seen anything like this. I know how to use a toilet and felt very uncomfortable. Also, the apartment is connected to the owners' apartment by black doors that cannot be locked from the inside. I feel that guests have no privacy or freedom.

Brak tv, drzwi do domu prywatnego, brak prywatności, było słychać szczekanie psów, dziwne dźwięki przypominające ruszanie się kamer, zapach starości, brudu, słabe oświetlenie, stare meble a mimo to osy nie mogły na nie wchodzić, zimno w domku, duży ogród na zewnątrz a bardzo mały przeznaczony na domek z booking, niedomyte naczynia, 10€ za 1 noc za jednego psa, cena jak w hotelu 2 gwiazdkowym minimum a jakość słaba

Heel fijn huisje, mooie ruimte en slaapkamer. Ruime badkamer. Lieve mensen, hond was ook meer dan welkom. Fijn ook, het was winter, extra warme kleedjes Loopafstand naar het centrum

In de winter zijn sloffen aan te raden. Het is een plavuizen vloer die koud aanvoelt.

Cadre parfait et rue calme, habitation 4 façades entourée de jardins C’est une arrière maison et il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, frigo etc.. Décorée avec goût et spacieux

Il faisait plus froid dans les pièces de vie (salon salle à manger) Les parquets et escaliers craquent .. Peut être un manque d’intimité vu que les propriétaires habitent la même maison (séparation par des cloisons)

Het verblijf was een ruime accommodatie met een eigen woonkamer, keuken en slaapkamer.

Het was een ruime accommodatie met een eigen woonkamer, keuken en een slaapkamer met badkamer boven. Voor ons, omdat we op doorreis waren, was het misschien te uitgebreid. Alles was goed geregeld en het is zeker een prettige uitvalsbasis voor een korte vakantie in België, bijvoorbeeld naar de Grotten van Han. De accommodatie ligt in een nette buitenwijk en is de helft van een vrijstaande woning. Er is een afgesloten stuk tuin waar je buiten kunt zitten of barbecuen (dat is ook mogelijk). Binnen is alles voorzien, maar soms wat minder afgewerkt, met veel verlengsnoeren, hoewel het wel effectief is. De slaapkamer heeft een groot tweepersoonsbed en een stapelbed, handig als je kinderen meeneemt. De badkamer is klein, maar voldoet. Er is ook een eigen parkeerruimte voor de deur

Omdat het 1 huis is is het soms toch wat gehorig met alle houten vloeren. Je kunt soms de buren (eigenaren) horen. Niets storend.

Knus. Je loopt naar de grotten in 5 min

Heel gezellig appartement. Smaakvol ingericht. Alles is aanwezig. Veel opbergruimte en dekens op de bank liggen opgevouwen. Goed bed. Fijne zitplaats buiten. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Je krijgt pas om 17.00 uur de sleutel. Zou fijn zijn om 15.00 zoals dar gangbaar is.

Prima plek in een prachtige omgeving

Het huisje is heel compleet, in de keuken is oa zout, afwasmiddel en handzeep aanwezig naast ruime hoeveelheid vaatdoekjes en theedoeken, badhanddoeken en linnengoed voor het 2 persoonsbed. Prima Wifi verbinding. Het is er heel rustig, fijn dat je buiten kunt zitten in afgeschermd stuk. Op loopafstand van de grotten van Lorette de Rochefort, de bossen en weilanden op een gooiende helling.

Bij aankomst was onduidelijk waar we de sleutel konden ophalen. Na vele malen de bel indrukken, op de deur kloppen en toen we om het huis heen liepen kwam de zoon van de eigenaar naar ons toe met de sleutel. Jammer dat Netflix het niet deed. Er is nog wel geprobeerd het te herstellen. Als je iets slechter ter been bent is het een nadeel dat het toilet in de badkamer op de 1e etage is. Verrassend dat de slaapkamer een open verbinding heeft met de woonkamer.

"Net niet"-evaring

Mooie omgeving (Rochefort, Han etc). Rustige wijk/straat (op blaffende honden na). Vriendelijk ontvangst! Klein, maar fijn omheind tuintje! Verschillende supermarkten op korte afstand.

Voorzieningen waren karig (weinig wc papier en handdoeken), niet echt schoon (spinnenwebben, vieze oven), vies kraanwater (ligt dit aan België/regio, of aan het huisje???), keuken en douche vervallen, veel losse kabels en stekkerdozen (ook in badkamer, dus gevaarlijk!) Gastheer sprak minimaal Engels en berichten ook in gebrekkig Engels (verder alleen Frans). €10 per nacht extra cash betalen voor hond (zonder dat er speciale voorzieningen o.i.d. waren en wél strenge voorwaarden).

Séjour très agréable, confortable et tranquille

Logement très bien entretenu, spacieux, agréable, belle terrasse. Le propriétaire se démène pour rendre le séjour agréable. Literie très propre et très confortable. Le lit parental est très grand. 3 fauteuils relax pour détendre vos jambes après une journée de balade. Proche du centre, on peut y aller à pied dans un cadre très agréable. Logement en plien centre d'un uartier hyper calme. Facilités de parking.

La chambre n'est pas fermée et on entend donc les bruits du salon et de la cuisine. Il faudrait pouvoir séparer les 2 lits enfants du lit parental, ne fût-ce par un rideau ou une tenture. Danger d'électrocution dans la douche : il faut déplacer une lampe et une multiprise. Mais le propriétaire va le faire bientôt.

Le logement se trouve dans un quartier très calme, ce qui est indéniablement un plus, tout en étant assez proche des axes de circulation. Pour une personne, le logement est très spacieux et confortable. Néanmoins, l’accès uniquement par le jardin peut s’avérer peu pratique, notamment lorsqu’on doit transporter plusieurs bagages.

Il était impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre de la chambre, même en oscillo-battant, ce qui rendait la pièce particulièrement chaude pendant la nuit.

abitazione immersa nel verde, attrezzatura cucina completa, spazi ampi, silenziosa. Il padrone di casa ha atteso il mio arrivo ed ha consegnato personalmente le chiavi.

Fantastisch verblijf!

Bij aankomst werden we heel vlot en vriendelijk ontvangen door de zoon des huizes. We kregen een korte rondleiding en alle info op een vlotte manier. De zoon stelde ook voor om de koffers te helpen binnenbrengen. Onze hond was er ook zeer welkom! Alles was zoals we verwacht hadden . Zeer vriendelijke host. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Heerlijk verblijf midden in de Ardennen

Je had alles wat je nodig had, de bank was heerlijk om lekker tv te kijken. En het bed was ook erg goed en groot. Ook fijne communicatie met de eigenaren. We hebben ook genoeg wandel routes in de buurt kunnen vinden

Un séjour sous un temps frais (16 degrés) en septembre

Le cadre intérieur ancien mais confortable et le jardin privé au calme. Belle décoration et équipement de la cuisine bien complet.

Le manque de chauffage (Central) (ou pas d'explication pour le mettre en route) impossible de se doucher car pas de chauffage dans la sdb et installation rudimentaire pour l'éclairage insuffisant de la douche) La TV en bas n'était pas programmée sur le mode TV.. Donc manque d'infos. Le fils nous a bien reçu et bien tout expliqué mais le sms à 21h20 pour nous dire de pas oublier de partir pour 11h le lendemain était malvenu. (nous venions d'arriver et le savions déjà.. Mais l'hôtesse s'est qd même bien renseignée si tout allait bien). Au départ un contact aurait été bienvenu si c'était possible bien sûr.

Ideaal vertrekpunt om te wandelen en toch dichtbij het stadscentrum.

Het appartement ligt in een residentiële buurt, omgeven door bossen en toch niet ver van het centrum van de stad Rochefort. De hosts waren uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het appartement straalt warmte uit met veel zorg voor details. De slaapkamer is heel comfortabel en in de keuken is alles aanwezig. Ook de tuin is heerlijk. Een ideale plek.
