Pet friendly home in Cortona AR
About 13 km above the ancient Etruscan city of Cortona lies this picturesque vacation home at 650m altitude, surrounded by vast forests. The former farmhouse was divided into two separate vacation apartments, which are now rented together. On the 1st floor is the large kitchen-living room with fireplace; functional, rustic furnishings in Tuscan style. The ground floor is reached by an external staircase; on the valley side of the house is the terrace with seating area. The well-kept garden area with private pool, sun terrace and covered seating area is fully fenced. The house belongs to a small rural settlement, in a quiet location. Here you can relax in the open air, hiking, biking. In Cortona you will find all the stores for daily needs and a wide choice of good restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors. Visit the town's Etruscan Museum and browse the colorful weekly market. Also within easy reach is Lake Trasimeno (25km), with its sandy beaches and small islands that can be explored by boat. The next bigger city is Arezzo (25km) with its worth seeing medieval old town around the Piazza Grande. Attention: The 2km long access road to the vacation home is not asphalted and not suitable for low lying cars.
