Take a drive to Pointe du Hoc, for example, or visit the American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer. A little further afield, Bayeux beckons with plenty of medieval charm and its famous tapestry. Within less than 30 minutes by car, you can reach Omaha Beach and Utah Beach. 800 meters away or on the other side of the marina and a sailing school is the beach.
