Location was so right for us. Near the Arena and the railway station.

That we all didn't make it.

Location was great for us. It was about 15 mins to the train station and about 10 minutes walk up to amphitheatre/piazza bra. There was a local shop for your bits and pieces too so location was good. It did have air conditioning too which we hadn't even thought about but was was a welcome bonus with a warm end of September. It felt a bit intermittent but might have just been us not used to using air con as from the UK! The bed in the bedroom was actually comfy, albeit a bit on the small side but comfy. The flat was well stocked with toilet rolls, towels, extra sheets etc and also a good stock of plates, glasses and essentials such as teabags and oils so didn't need to worry about those. We didnt cook so dont know well it worked but there were lots of pots and pans to use too. Terrace was lovely and big. Good for a coffee in the morning or apperitivo before heading out. There were not plants like on the pics but could see the potential and we spent a lot of time out there

Unfortunately there were a few things wrong with the place. It had a digital lock system for the building door and apartment door and you need working Internet on your phone which we didnt know before booking. Luckily we did have Internet but the building door was intermittent but worse of all the front door broke mid stay leaving our apartment unlocked for 4 days in a busy apartment block all day and all night which made me very paranoid so didnt sleep very well. The bathroom has a shower in the middle of the room and when you've used the shower the floor is very wet for a long time. Even if you tried to sweep it down the drain so beware of wet slippery feet. The shower curtain also smells after its been wet so it's not very nice after. There is also nowhere to put your toiletries and things. The sink is quite big to put some stuff but just not great storage. It lacked a few basics such as a coffee table or end table for drinks in the lounge, and the sofa as an actual sofa wasnt very comfy as the seats kept sliding off. As a bed it had a comfy mattress but it was incredibly noisy on the springs. With the building also being residential there was quite a bit of noise from neighbours and the corridor and although the apartment is "quiet" so not street noise, it was very noisy with people living their lives so little chance of a lie in when we were there.
