Luxury Beach House with Private Pool near Alys Beach

"Playin Hooky" is a newly-renovated family vacation rental located just 5-minutes to the beach sand, in 30A near Alys Beach. It's shaded neighborhood setting sits just off of Scenic 30A and makes for a lovely bicycle ride through each of the picturesque beach communities on the Emerald Coast. The private screened-in pool deck features a swimming pool, alfresco dining table, and outdoor kitchen & gas grill. Inside accommodations boast 4 bedrooms and a fully furnished living, kitchen & dining space. "Comfort" is key to a relaxing vacation by the beach and Playin Hooky has spared no expense in that department. Luxury furnishings are placed throughout each level, including the outdoor patio and balcony!

An open-air furnished patio greets our guests the moment they arrive upon the cobblestone drive. Shaded by large oak trees in the front yard, this area is perfect for an evening glass of wine and great conversation after a long day at the beach. Inside the living space there is a large smart tv, cozy fireplace and comfortable seating for all guests. The fully equipped kitchen and island bar is set up for those who love to cook & snack while being able to watch the big show with everyone in the living area. Formal dining for up to 10 guests plus an additional 4 seats at the bar ensure the entire group can dine together for any occasion. Down the hall is a well-appointed king suite with private entrance to the quiet front porch area. Across the hall is a custom built queen over queen bunk bed, comfortably suited for guests of any age and size. For added convenience, there is a side-by-side washer and dryer room on the ground floor as well. The second floor is home to the second king suite which has its own privately furnished walkout balcony, situated amongst the oak trees overlooking the neighborhood. Morning coffee was meant to be sipped from this view, just before anyone else wakes up! The last bedroom was furnished with all the kiddos in mind! Two uniquely built, 3-tier twin bunk beds stand ready to host all the fun during family vacation nights!

The private backyard is the perfect place to take a break and dive in! 3-5 feet of cool water fill the swimming pool and offer a wonderful, shaded oasis. The entire pool deck is screened for optimal comfort in both the afternoon and evening hours. An outdoor kitchen and gas grill are a great addition, making the outdoor space extra special; who doesn't love a good BBQ on vacation? A dining table set for 6 and several pool loungers are set for everyone to be together while playing outside! Beach days are a breeze for the guests at Playin Hooky because the private beach access gate is only a 5-minute walk from the front door! Even less time if you're on one of 30A's traditional bicycle cruisers. Speaking of bicycling, for those avid cyclists of the group - mile marker 16 of the Timpoochie trail sits right outside of the neighborhood.

*Designated parking is assigned for 3-4 vehicles.
*There is no smoking inside or outside while on the property.
*You must be at least 25 years of age to rent.
*All reservations are non-refundable, we strongly encourage adding travel insurance to your reservation so that you are covered.
*Guest must sign rental agreement within 72 hours of booking.
*Property management is not liable for any construction that may occur outside of the properties we manage.
