The room was beautiful, I stayed in the queen this time. There was an ensuite bathroom in the queen room, which was extremely convenient. The downstairs is comfy and beautiful, and although the stairs are loud, the upstairs, once there, are nice and keep the character of the house. The room has an easily accessible outlet by the dresser, and 2 lighted end tables for your bedside book and glasses. The water gets how fast, and the bathroom came with bathrobes and plenty of large (towel sheet sized) towels to use. Breakfast was fresh fruit, breads, meats, and an egg. I appreciated that the fruit was not just a bunch of tasteless melons, but rather perfectly ripe strawberries and blueberries. The coffee was hot and tasty.
Because I used a 3rd party booking, the method to access the property was impacted and I had to call to gain access to the property. I think this is truly Booking's issue, however it was the only thing I did not like.

I loved that it islocated so close to the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center at Gonzaga and an easy drive! I love that I had a bathroom to myself. I loved the historic preservision of this home! Bed/bedding was so comfy. It is an impressive looking house from the street and the inside is charming. I really did like that I could park off the street in a snow free driveway near the entry. I loved the quick response when I emailed the question: "What is my room number?" (it was #2) I didn't hear noise from the other 2 guests (not even going down the stairs). My room was painted in chocolate shades! Dark chocolate walls and milk chocolate pressed metal ceiling! Tall windows that I could look down and see my car in driveway.
I wish there were more outlets in Room 2 . .I had 5 things to plug in... but only had one outlet in bathroom and one by the door/chest of drawers none by bed "table". I wish that there had been one more croissant & meats & cheese for me. My only breakfast option was yogurt/granola/fresh berries (yum!) and no OJ left. (I slept in because I was awake for an hour after a nearby police siren at 3am, so didn't get down to eat until after 8:30. . .but the couple there were lovely to visit with) I wish that there had been a chair in the room...maybe in front of full length mirror? Maybe in the description say that all rooms are upstairs (I would have packed lighter!)

This B&B is lovely. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Common spaces are beautifully decorated. This was a much nicer stay than a chain hotel.

The Marianna Stoltz House exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is historic and loaded with comfortable and beautiful period furniture. It is located in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance from Gonzaga University, with plenty of onstreet parking. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, ample, full of variety and very fresh, with cut fresh fruit. We are experienced travelers, and give this location our highest recommendation!!!

This is a treasure not to be missed. A gorgeous 1908 historic home that has been lovingly maintained through 3 generations of family owners is rare these days. The bed was a 10/10 which is unheard of for me. Everything was as neat as a pin and I fell in love with the charming creaky wooden floors, vintage lights, morning room, honor bar and scrumptious breakfast. Holland was lovely and very accommodating. Please don't let this grand dame go undiscovered! I will return as often as I am in Spokane.
Nothing to comment other than I wish there were more guests so this place continues to operate to this high standard.

It’s a beautiful house and property. It’s nice to sit on the porch and relax after a long drive. The home is elegant with stylish décor. The breakfast was delicious and the bed was very comfortable. We were the only guests, so it was very quiet. The code entry system works very well.

This was a beautiful classic house with lovely vintage furnishings and decor. Very easy to find and get inside. Felt very welcoming with lots of comfortable sitting areas on the outdoor porch and in the living room and dining area.
I had a room with a shared bath, but seemed to have it all to myself. I slept wonderfully and enjoyed the quiet French music playing during breakfast.

The house is lovely and historical. The visual elegance of the common furnishings added to the ambience. Parking was easy and the room was comfortable, especially the king bed! E
It was odd not to encounter anyone during our stay. We pretended it was watched over by ghosts when we came downstairs for breakfast and it “magically” appeared on the table each morning 😄. In all seriousness, the lack of connection with a human at a bed and breakfast did not compute. It should likely be called an Historic Self-serve Guest House that includes breakfast. However, I was more annoyed by the lack of responses to the two messages I sent in advance and the missing room number on the checkin instructions. We had to try our code on all the doors to figure out which one was ours. I’m guessing there is no one monitoring the messages on the booking app.

We liked how the home brought us back in time. We enjoyed looking at the furniture and the fun way the rooms were decorated.
The noise here is extreme. Sitting on the patio in the evening was lovely but the street noise and the music playing extremely loudly from a neighborhood house ruined the ambience. Literally, it became so annoying that I questioned my booking.

We loved the house and the decor. It felt like we stepped back in time and we loved that! We enjoyed the robes, comfortable beds, and sitting on the patio/playing croquet. It’s a gorgeous house and the owner is very nice. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated that there was (glass) bottled water and glassware to use. Nice music playing in the living room. Wi-Fi was great.
It was very noisy from the very creaky stairs to the neighbors playing extremely loud rock music, to the loud motor cycles and cars on Indiana Street. We didn’t see the ear plugs until morning so consequently, got very poor, limited sleep. There is no coffee available until 7:30. Thus, a lower than 10 rating. Other than these two things, we loved our stay and would love to return!

The host, Holland is delightful and she has cute dogs. I loved the decor and furniture. The breakfast was lovely. The location is very central.
A trash bin in my room would have been appreciated, and maybe a small coffee maker, otherwise it was lovely. (But going downstairs for coffee and breakfast was no problem)

So cozy and comfortable. We loved the design and decor, such a unique spot! Breakfast was delicious as well. It was very easy to enter with their coded lock system, we loved staying here and definitely will again the next time we come to Spokane!

Would have liked to meet the staff, if there's a reason why I didn't, that's fine also, totally enjoyed my stay, house is beautiful

Large and accommodating living area
House gardens and signage could be looked after better - made me want to do some yelped work and gardening

Everything was ideal. Holland was so gracious to allow an early check-in so I could clean up from my drive and meet friends for a cruise in Coeur d'Alene. From parking to secure entry (both front door and room) to lovely toiletries and towels, not to mention a very comfortable room and bed, no detail was omitted. Breakfast was ready at 7:30 and it was a beautiful and delicious selection. It reminded me of my vacation in Reykjavik. I never saw another person during my stay, but that's just fine. I look forward to staying here again.
Finding something to not like during my stay is impossible.

We both loved the decor and the breakfest the next morning was simply amazing! Every room had a different look and loved the wrapped around porch. Also loved the music that was playing while we walked around the common areas. We would definitely stay again should be come in town again and highly recommend for anyone passing though.

I think I briefly met one staff who was putting breakfast items together. They seemed sweet. The room was comfortable and I loved the antique aspect of the home.
The breakfast was good! I think having different items to choose from might be helpful. Overall, it was a lovely layout.

It was very comfortable and cute. We enjoyed the continental breakfast (fruit, pastries, yogurt, coffee, orange juice).
I couldn’t find the room number through our booking so there was a little trouble initially there, but Holland was very responsive to my call and email when we arrived on a Saturday to resolve the matter.

Historical BnB, cute charm and decorations, first floor was lovely and inviting for all, great fluffy bath towels, wonderful wrap around porch
Window A/c unit was right next to the bed and wasn't consistent, leading to variable Temps all night long. Stairs going up to second floor/bedroom were very loud, creaky, almost felt like we might step through. Very little sound insulation between rooms.
