Le Petit Louis XII - Appartement centre Blois avec garage

Zeer goede locatie net naast het kasteel van Blois. Het appartement beschikt over bijna alles wat nodig is en een supermarkt vind je op 300m van de locatie. Het is heel authentiek ingericht en je krijgt vooraf een zeer informatieve brochure toegestuurd via e-mail met alle info over het appartement en de stad i.vm. hoe je er moet komen (verkeerssituatie in het centrum), eetgelegenheden en wat er allemaal voorhanden is in het appartement.

Ondanks dat er 2 ventilatoren aanwezig waren was het door de hete zomer zeer warm in het appartement, indien er airconditioning geplaatst zou worden zou het perfect zijn. De GPS kent de straat wel maar het huisnummer niet, we hebben moeten telefoneren naar de host om via visuele tips de locatie te vinden en het lijkt of de woning zich in een andere straat bevindt.

Sehr zentrale Lage mitten in der Altstadt, alles sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber fein, die dazugehörige Garage fürs Auto gut, wenn auch recht eng. Die Kommunikation mit Natacha war bestens.

Da die Wohnung über keine Klimaanlage verfügt und man nicht gut durchlüften kann, ist es nicht empfehlenswert, im Hochsommer dieses Logis zu mieten. In der Nacht und am frühen Morgen ist es zudem sehr lärmig (Anlieferungen, Kehrichtauto, Putzmaschine), so dass ab 05.30 Uhr nicht mehr gross an Schlaf zu denken ist.

The apartment was comfortable and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked very well with hot water and good water pressure. It was just a few minutes away from a Carrefour grocery store and an excellent bakery. It's very close to the city center, the chateau, the House of Magic, the WWII Center for the Resistance, beautiful gardens, etc.

Unfortunately, there is a bar/café across the street that had live music (rock) two nights in a row on the weekend, which made it very difficult to go to sleep. The bedroom was hot, but we couldn't open the windows because of the loud noise. A fan in the apartment would have been very helpful. Also, the apartment is at the top of a long set of concrete stairs. There was no light on the stairs, and they were very dark. My husband bumped his head on the low concrete ceiling above the stairs. We ended up buying a flashlight, which was absolutely necessary. The stairway really should have a light for safety.

Si votre véhicule est dans le garage, il vous faudra attendre la fin du marché à 14h30 pour pouvoir l'en sortir. >Départ expéditif le dimanche matin à 10h30 contrairement aux horaires habituelles des Airbnb plutôt entre 11h et 12h. Bref, si vous souhaitez visiter Blois en semaine ou le week-end et que vous êtes matinaux, cet appartement peut être le bon choix.
