Mariners Retreat- spacious apartment in Crail

Beautifully appointed apartment, and great location.

Spacious, bright and clean. Great location.

Very minor points but could hear movement and voices from upstairs and their washing machine on. Not at unsocial hours but still slight nuisance.

Great communication with landlords. Very easy access arrangements. Very comfortable. Great size for two couples. Well equipped. Good location.

Not a big thing but this needs attention - damp patch in front lobby and peeling paint in bathroom.

Location in Crail was perfect, very central. The apartment was so clean and well-equipped, we wanted for nothing. Furnishings and bedding and beds were perfect. Kitchen so well equipped- just like being at home.

There was nothing that we did not like about the apartment. Thank you. However, the payment system needs to be improved. We booked through Booking.com (frequently used by us) but when it came to payment time (a few days before entry) and an email link came through, the link to the payment screen did not work properly. We had several phone conversations with the property agents, Pittenweem Properties (Beth) who were very helpful but could not resolve the issue , suggesting this must be some IT tech issue between them and Booking.com. We ended up having to give Credit Card details verbally on the phone- not the most secure method (absolutely no suggestion of any aspersions on Pittenweem Properties). All worked out in the end- but this needs looked at.
