The Cooperage Garden Apartment - Crail

Very well placed for the beautiful harbour area, Fife Coastal Path, local transport and shops. It felt cosy and welcoming.

Some updating is due, especially the bath/shower but overall it was well equipped and furnished. As noted in other reviews noise insulation, or lack of it, is a bit of an issue and you can really hear the upstairs neighbours.

The apartment was spacious and very nicely appointed. Beautiful garden, large kitchen with all you would need for a longer stay. In fact, I wished I had been staying more than 2 nights as it was a very comfortable space in which to relax. Entire apartment was very clean, comfortable bed, great shower. Very quiet. Nice selection of books and a few games and puszzles too. Convenient location with the bus stop just steps away. Co-Op grocery store in the next block was a life saver, as restaurants in town were limited. I did not have a car with me, but parking spaces always seemed to be available right in front.

I did not receive the access code to the room at check in time on email as promised. After emailing and no reply, I called and they gave me a code. Later discovered the wifi code listed int he room did not work. Did not receive a reply on that issue until late the next day, which was frustrating.

The property is located in a great location, we liked the local feel with a great butcher, fruit shop & bakers. The local hotel was reasonably priced and had great staff. Great local amenities & walks.

The property needs a bit of attention. The sofa in the living room needs to be replaced and the bathroom floor needs to be repaired. Parking was a bit difficult due to road works.
