Pre-arrival communication with the host was great, and Massimiliano was available for questions whenever needed. The views from the rooms and the private garden are amazing. The room decor is old world but with modern conveniences. All in all, a charming place. Corniglia is a great central location for a stay in the Cinque Terre region.

This is a fantastic property and location if you’re looking to stay in Corneglia. The host, Massiaimilano, is FANTASTIC. He greeted us warmly, made sure we had everything we needed and was generous with his time and open to any questions that we had. He anticipated when to be available so that we could purchase 5T tix for the trains and hiking paths. This property was clean, had full sets of towels, provided breakfast and snack options, had an espresso maker, provided bottled water and a welcome bottle of 5T wine. Our room was very cool with a rock encroaching into our shower, had an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean, chickens next door and lots of tables on the veranda to relax. However, it was a tight fit with all four of us staying in one room and our luggage tucked into corners of the room BUT! It worked out! Also, I should mention that laundry is now for a price $10eu for 5kg. This is a new policy and was unexpected from the information when we booked. Regardless, as long as you can manage the 382 steps and 30 ramps with your luggage up to this location, it’s a wonderful place to stay and I would return next time I come back.

Had a wonderful visit to Corniglia, and our stay at Maduneta 5 Terre couldn't have been much more perfect. Gracious host, who provided helpful information for the area. Amazing view from our room, and jasmine in bloom under our window gave the room a lovely aroma.

What is unique about about our stay is meeting Claudia and Massimiliano who delt with our request promptly. The beautiful garden was always a welcoming and peaceful place for end of the day relax.

Our host was extraordinarily kind and helpful, taking the time to help us make the most of our stay at the least possible expense of money and time. The room was perfect, overlooking the see with a clear view of the town of Manarola. I highly recommend staying in Corning if you plan to visit the Cinque Terra for more than a day, and if you do you could not ask for better place to stay.

Just as almost every other review says, the host Massimiliano was amazing! He runs a tight ship and has thought of everything! From the bottles of water each day to the snacks and the coffee, no detail went unnoticed. Our room was perfect, small but charming with a killer view of the sea and the town of Manarola right out our window. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the center of town a five minute walk away. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

To call this place INCREDIBLE is an understatement. We got the premium suite with ocean view and it went above and beyond our expectations. They gave us a free bottle of wine, free water, and everything we needed was just a text away. The staff were very pleasant and made the stay even better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. NOTE: Corniglia is up on a very steep hill. Take the bus by the train station early before a huge line of people form. Carrying your luggage up 400 steps is not ideal… we did it but do not recommend it.

Cinque Terre is such a great area to relax. The room was great. Nice view. It had ac👍. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!! Plenty of towels. Included soaps & shampoo/conditioner. Coffee station & biscuits. Shutter from train to center of town. The staff was so friendly & accommodating. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Shower is on the small side. Probably 60-70 steep steps from center of tiny town. ****** If mobility is an issue this is not the place for you

To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful

Comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation in the lovely village of Corniglia. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We loved our stay. Would recommend trying to get the room with the terrace which has more space to spread out and enjoy the stunning view. The garden below was a nice spot to relax as well. Would highly recommend.

Such a wonderful gem in Corniglia! Massimiliano could not have been a more congenial and attentive host. He was responsive to our every question and need, provided wonderful dinning options and helped us with Terra passes, etc... The Guesthouse room was beautiful, had a private outdoor terrace and was perfectly located for our walking/hiking needs. We would highly recommend M5 to all.

We booked this room at 5:00pm after driving down to Corneglia. Max met us within 10 minutes showing us to a beautiful room and the garden of the hotel. He gave us directions to the blue path, local restaurants and the town center. The room was clean and very comfortable.
