Otters End, near Wroxham

It was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and had all the amenities that you may have wanted. Many thoughtful additions and a super welcome pack was provided. David and Maureen are exceptional hosts, very helpful and friendly. Outside there is a terrace to sit on if the weather is good. Big windows allow you to view the deer and kingfishers from inside the property. The location is in a small village, there is a pub nearby. It is very quiet and peaceful so very relaxing.

An absolutely lovely stay. Everything that was needed was provided. Beautiful accommodation, lovely garden with deer and birds to watch. Cute patio to sit and relax on. Thoroughly recommend it. We’ll be back.

Location and facilities.

Location was superb. Very quiet and located on a small offshoot from the already quiet Dilham Dyke upper reaches of Broads river network. Plenty of scope to catch the sun or retreat to the shade. Property furnished to a high degree. Kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob, ninja air fryer, krupps nespresso machine and large dishwasher. Bed was very comfortable for us, a feature we encounter only rarely. The owners had mown the grass right down to the waters edge making kayak entry and exit relatively easy. Lots of kingfisher activity but no otters seen on this trip. Great spot for having cycling trips down the many quiet lanes nearby. We were so impressed we booked again for October.

Nothing. Be aware that there is no freezer. This wasn’t a problem for us. There was a note left stating ask the owners if you wish to have ice; that was made use of to deal with a kayak collision injury to the hand!
