Perfect!

Before we arrived, our hosts were in touch to advise that we could arrive earlier than the set time which was a nice touch. They both introduced themselves on our arrival and made us feel very welcome! They provided a very good range of complimentary items for our stay and overall, were delightful!

Short break at Otters End.

Very peaceful, wildlife in the garden, home-from-home comfortable If you want to be off the main rivers this is the place for you. Extras provided, bread, fruit etc very welcome Fishing at Irstead was very good.

Luxury, beauty and tranquility

Beautiful view and garden , we enjoyed walking over the little bridge along the canal to the river. Lovely to have a choice of breakfast provided. David and Maureen were friendly without being overbearing. We felt very well looked after. Thank you

Simply idyllic

The apartment was fantastic, clean, well laid out, and the little extra touches were great. The hosts were very friendly, gave us excellent tips about boat hire and places to visit. The view from the patio was amazing. We could watch deer and herons while having breakfast. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

A luxury holiday home-from-home!

Everything about this little annexe just feels like home from home, except with all the upgrades! The decor is both traditional and modern, it feels spacious, and the bifold doors just seal the deal. With the perfect vista across an expanse of garden, a small inlet, a moored boat, plus all the wildlife you didn’t expect, you could happily chill there without leaving the property! The owners leave more options in terms of homeware, kitchen items. and food, than you could ever think to add, and all this provides the perfect package.

We loved the Otters End accommodation the first time, and our visit this year reaffirmed that opinion. The breakfast provisions provided are phenomenal, as is the attention to detail in all areas of the accommodation .

A peaceful retreat with friendly owner on hand. Location perfect for exploring The Broads

Otters End is located in the sleepy village of Dilham with a pub a stones throw away. Set at the end of a tarmac road it has a covered, dedicated parking space for guests. The purpose built apartment is part of the owners home and looks out upon a well tended garden and through which the Nth Walsham and Dilham canal runs. A peaceful, idyllic spot.

A thank you to the hosts

Second visit to Otter's End, used it to visit friends one of whom is unfortunately unwell. Very pretty setting, lots of wildlife. Well equipped, clean and comfortable accommodation. A special word on the hosts. If you want privacy, they leave you to it but as it transpired, on this stay, we needed to have some communication and they were lovely, very, very helpful and added some specialness to our stay. Now we have found Otter's End it has become our 'go to' when visiting this area.

Brilliant stay , very comfortable and private lovely views

This place is a little gem , i was traveling for work and perfect location to unwind. Everything was spotless clean. The view in the morning is breathtakingly . I would love to visit again when I'm not working to really enjoy the area . I felt very safe , there are personal touches milk bread tea and coffee and breakfast items. I even saw deer

Exceptional and a rare find.

A stylish, comfortable, immaculately clean and exceptionally well-equipped apartment with everything you could need for both short and long stays. The hosts are very generous, offering thoughtful extras like toiletries and complimentary food supplies to make you feel instantly at home. The property is set in a peaceful, historical location with stunning views and direct access to a private marina. It’s also perfectly located for exploring the Norfolk coast and other local attractions. I had high expectations based on the reviews, but this place still managed to exceed them.

Beautiful Holiday Home - well worth a stay

Beautiful location(enjoyed spotting the wildlife) and good base to visit many places, interior homely and well thought out, also clean and tidy with attention to detail, appreciated the Christmas offerings (decs and sweet treats 😊) would recommend to others as we had a lovely stay.

Possibly consider replacing sofa - current one not the most comfortable.

If you're looking for quiet, comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Norfolk Broads you couldn't find better accommodation. Beautiful, peaceful outlook, well equipped with 2 pubs in a couple of minutes walk. What's not to love!

Great stay.

Greeted by David upon arrival. Made to feel very welcome. The cottage is in a lovely, quiet location. Great views from the lounge, out over the garden. Facilities were great. Very clean. Great shower, extremely comfy bed. Lots of essential food items were provided for our stay. Eggs, milk, cereals, bread, butter, jam, biscuits, fruit to name but a few. Extremely generous & very much appreciated. Felt quite spoilt!

Location was stunning. Very tranquil and the terrace and huge bifold window were fabulous. Very well appointed with lovely touches for breakfast. Everything we needed was provided and hosts very welcoming and helpful. We hope to return.

The perfect stay.

We stayed here for a few days after getting married locally and it was the perfect stay! It’s brand new and is very well put together. The bed is very comfy. David was fantastic and gave us a full run down of all the local places to visit and places to eat. There are a lot of key things included in the kitchen which is a huge bonus. The setting is beautiful and has the perfect terrace to relax and unwind on. Recommend the crown pub which is a short 10 minute walk away. We also enjoyed a lovely Indian take away on our last night from the local oasis Stalham place included in the recommendations section of David’s information booklet. Thoroughly recommended overall. Thank you David and Pauline!

an amazing hideaway for two

Where do I start? the location is stunning. A lovely picture window/bifold door overlooking the garden with the river or canal just the other side of some trees. The apartment is so well furnished and comfortable. The fridge and cupboard was stocked with breakfast goodies which was unexpected but very welcome. A lovely sofa and TV too. There was a little veranda with a wicker table and chairs. Even if raining you could sit out and just take in the peace and quiet. There is a village pub about 5 minutes walk away. The shower room luxurious with a large walk in shower. Some toiletries provided in case you forgot to bring your own. Also a hairdryer. The bedroom and large wardrobe wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts Maureen and David were so friendly and welcoming and gave us some useful information about day boat hire and nice places to eat, but there is a folder full of useful information about the surrounding areas. This was a home from home. Simply lovely. We will be back at the earliest opportunity.

Exceptional

Everything was excellent, the accomodation was bright clean and extremely comfortable, nothing was too much trouble and everything needed to ensure a great stay had been catered for. The outlook is beautiful and so relaxing. The extra touches provided for breakfast were wonderful , Nothing was too much trouble for Dave and Maureen to ensure a fabulous stay.

We loved the whole experience and had nothing to complain about.
