Stonesthrow 184 Broadside Chalet Park Stalham

The chalet was equipped with everything you need down to the little touches like washing up liquid, kitchen roll and foil which are often missing for self catering properties and means dragging all these bits with you. The property was clean throughout and the host very attentive checking everything was ok. The chalet is in a great location on the park close to car park, clubhouse and the park has a cut through to the marina which was perfect as we hired a boat one day so took a couple of mins tops to walk to the marina.

The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a full sized double bed as the small double was abit of a squeeze for 2 adults.

It was homely and quiet, very nicely prepared and welcoming

There wasn’t anything

The chalet was beautifully cleaned and smelt nice. It was very well equipped. Julia messaged me earlier than our arrival time to say the chalet was ready if we'd like to arrive earlier. This was a nice personal touch in addition to leaving us milk and some snacks. The location is great for The Broards and the beautiful beaches.

A full size double bed would have been preferred.

The property was clean and the location was great for where we wanted to be. For the price it was ok.

The main bed was not a double, was a 3/4 bed so myself and my husband had to sleep in seperate rooms. Luckily was only 2 of us plus the baby but had we been a family of 4, this would have been an issue. Very small - smaller than it looks. There was an additional chair in the living room which wasnt in the photos and this meant there was very little room in the lounge. The living room furniture was not comfortable. The chalet is probably great in summer but in rainy weather it felt damp - you could feel the dampness in the air, see it in the loo roll / kitchen roll, and towels/swimwear did not dry. Even clothes we did not use got damp. Was very cold and difficult to heat up.
