170 Broadside Holiday Chalet near Broads & Beaches

Great base on the broads. Really comfy with everything you need. Great communication.

Location was great. Nice quiet chalet park at the end of a residential street in a quiet village. The village has lots though, a Tesco, takeaways etc The chalet was well equipped, with a good sized living/kitchen area, great bathhrooms and nice bedrooms. The living area also had enough room for a dog cage, and the grassed areas outside were lovely. The kitchen is really well equipped with a fridge and freezer box and an oven that I managed to cook 5 pizzas in. The bathroom is great, with a great shower. The living area has two 2/3 seater sofas, with a occasional dining table and chairs and a freeview TV. We were able to get everywhere in Norfolk within 30-40 mins and the lovely village of Stalham was 8-10 mins walk away. Owner also was very easy to get hold of through booking.com, very quick to repsond to our request to book another night. We went to the clubhouse one evening. Really friendly place with lots of people there. Didn't srtike us as a drinking den, but rather a family place to eat and get drinks next to a play park for the kids. 2 pints of cider and 1 guinness was around £15, so good prices too! They were setting up for a band night (it was a Friday) but we didn't stay for it - also worth mentioning that we didn't hear anything from the clubhouse when we in the chalet.

It's not a complaint at all, but my family range from me at 6'2", my wife and daughters all betwen 5'8"and 5'10", so even though the living areas were well proportioned, the beds were a squeeze, but like I said not a complaint as they were full doubles, we've always had issues in normal size holiday homes, caravans etc, so it wasn;t a bother. Didn't make the stay any worse for us really, as the living area acommodated a blow up bed.

Loads to do in the area and we liked the club house on site.

We didnt realise that we needed to bring our own towels, but wouldn't have been a problem to bring some and I may have missed this in the description. There were large cobwebs in the windows, rather dusty under the beds and on the shelf in the kitchen. Cups/glasses had to be washed before use.

A lovely little chalet on a quiet park in a good location. Very comfortable stay and was clean throughout. Good for the beach and broads.

Just missing a pair of scissors in the cutlery drawer but all other facilities good.
