Great for visiting Diss and the surrounding area.
Location great for visiting Diss town centre. Quirky, characterful house. Comfy sofas in the lounge. TV in the main bedroom as well as one in the lounge. Nice courtyard at rear of house with seating.
Side door quite difficult to open. The bottom has come off and was in the courtyard. The house had a few cobwebs. It could do with a deep clean and freshen up. I found the bed hard and uncomfortable. The shower did cut out twice. Others in reviews have mentioned this. I think the cottage is a little overpriced at nearly £100 a night.

Cosy, comfortable, easy
The building had a very "old fashioned" vibe, it was very cosy to stay in.
My only criticism is that the door was rather hard to open/close, though I would assume this is simply due to the age of the building

Nothing! Don't waste your money
Bed was broken and held up by a stool. Bedding was wet, as in just come out of the washing machine. Stains on the mattress. We had to leave as the smell of damp and sewage waste from the drains were horrendous. We contacted the host and he acknowledged he knew about the conditions but that it was not unsafe. Host refused to give a refund. Avoid this property at all costs, con artist, who takes money for a hovel of a place and thinks it's acceptable. We didn't even stay 2 hours, we had to sleep in our car because the conditions are so bad!

Good location close to town centre and supermarkets. Comfortable living room. Convenient parking right outside cottage.
Not good enough for the price. Shower was faulty. It was dangerously hot on the lowest temperature setting. The equipment provided in the kitchen was quite poor. Only 2 forks, no lids to fit the saucepans and one saucepan was burnt. There was no washing-up liquid. Only 1 large towel provided for each person. There was no plug in the bathroom sink. The leaded glass in the bathroom window needs mending, it is very loose. There was only 1 coat hanger.

Worst place I ever been
I liked the place where that house was located. The town Diss and surrounding area was stunning.
Firstly. The key location. 🔑 the owner provided with the code of safe locker, but didn't mentioned, where to find it. As I arrived i didn't knew where was the key location safe box was. So I saw on my right hand side the doors with the key code keypad. Tried to to type few times in that key pad the code, which I was provided. Nothing worked.
Then i called to the number provided to me.
The person who answered to me explained, where to locate the key safe box.
Finally I opened the key safe box.
Picked up the 🔑. That's fine. Now there is 2 key holes in the door. Didn't had an instructions which key hole to use it. Tried both. Upper key hole didn't unlocked the door. Then i somehow managed to unlock the bottom key hole. Anyway. It was 2 holes there. Out of the 2 holes. One unlocked.
First impressions, when i opened and entered the property.
It was kitchen. Kitchen looked tidy. But the smell, which I suffered. There is no words to describe, how was bad. It smells like nobody was ventilating that property for ages. Smelled, like old lining and sweat and old stuff. Doors frames where way to small. I am 6.2foot. Few times banged me heand into the door frames. Living room was comfy, and cozy. Sofa bed and sofa was ok. Tv and tv adapter, which I could turn on and watch the tv. I didn't find a problem.
The carpet, was worn-out and short from the gripperods around the wall by the stair case. I not property inspector, but it was disgusting. Same with the stair case and the rest of the forst floor. The stair case was to steep and winding stairs were creaking. As I mentioned. I am tall, but i had to bent to walk in through the stairs up.
First floor. Smells even worse, then the kitchen.
Main bedroom linen smelled, like nosoby washed them for ages, same like another room. Plus had some stains on the duvet covers in both rooms. Pillows smelled, like someone did poo on them. In the smaller room the mattress were to worn.

Apart from the shower our stay was enjoyable.
The property was perfectly adequate, comfy and warm in a location that suited our purposes for our visit to Diss.
The shower was dreadful. The temperature couldn't be controlled and was either freezing or scorching and cut out out on occasion due to tripping the fuse box.

Charming cottage that doesn't quite live up to expectations
Great location, cute cottage, bright inside. Lovely pebble courtyard was a bonus.
Although the place was tidy it could not have been called clean (dusty shelves, random sugar cubes scattered in the kitchen drawers, appliances and taps that, based on their water-spotting, indicated a hasty and slap-dash method of cleaning.) Would have been helpful to have instructions on TV, garbage and recycling, a bit about the area. The shower cut out at one point, and though we called the host immediately there was no answer. When we called back later that afternoon he texted that we needed to flip a switch (no indication as to which switch) on an electrical panel. No guest wants to attempt electrical fixing in a stranger's cottage!

Not much not to like! Would benefit from some new pillows and matching bedding just to add an extra comfortable feel.

Fun little quirky house in a great location.
It is very quaint and a bit like a tiny house with a quirky staircase which made it interesting and unusual.
The tiny stairwell makes it tricky getting luggage up to the bedrooms. The housekeeping was fine but could use some finer touches. The bathroom glass was very poorly cleaned. Looked rushed.
