* Location: Perfect spot! Just a quick, easy 10-minute walk to Green Lake: super convenient.
* Parking: Street parking only, but we didn’t have any trouble finding a spot. Just a heads-up: the street is pretty narrow, so be careful when opening your car door since traffic can get tight when cars are parked on both sides.
* The House: Cozy and well-kept! The beds were comfortable, and everything looked to be in great shape. Heating was a little tricky without a thermostat, but honestly, it was just a minor inconvenience. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, which was a big plus.
* Wi-Fi Issues: Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we arrived, and despite contacting the property owner, it couldn’t be fixed during our stay. This was a big inconvenience because I needed internet access for work, and the TV relies on streaming, so we couldn’t use it either. What made this more frustrating was that previous reviews mentioned the same problem, which suggests it wasn’t resolved before our visit. Reliable Wi-Fi is a basic expectation these days, and having it down for multiple guests over several weeks is disappointing.
