We had kids and grandchildren at this home on Mirror Lake. The house was comfortable, particularly the sunroom overlooking the lake. We had brought kayaks and were able to use their canoe and their paddle boat. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking ware and plates. The location is very close to the center of Highlands.

We visit Highlands often (2-3x yr) and this was one of the best places we have stayed! Best way to describe it is simply magical! The house sits so peacefully on Mirror Lake it feels like you are in another world. Our kids were obsessed with taking the canoe out every morning and going fishing. The property is also less than 5 min from town making it super convenient. The cottage itself was clean and cozy. Our favorite spot was of course the all seasons porch overlooking the lake. If you are looking for a quiet cottage with serene water views but still have access to all of Highlands amenities, this is the spot for you! We will definitely be back!
