Experience the beauty of Highlands in this freshly decorated and well kept property! Escape to the beautiful luxury property "Bonnie Cottage"! This home is 1/2 mile from Half Mile Farm, perfect for families, sleeps 8 adults and 2 children comfortably with 3.5 baths with 2 huge garden tubs and 3 showers, 4 queen beds upstairs in 2 huge bedrooms, king bed in master bedroom with full en suite bath, finished basement is darling with ship lap and trundle bed and full rain shower! Winter view of Satula Mountain. Full kitchen with updated appliances and full size washer/dryer. Large double deck to sit and watch nature while you have a glass of wine or coffee! Being so close to town, you truly have the best of both worlds in this quiet mountain retreat! Wide plank hardwood floors throughout, fresh paint, large library with huge picture windows to sit and read and enjoy the natural beauty of the Highlands! Walk to downtown and Mirror Lake or make the short drive. If you are going in town to an event, or some thing, fancy or at night, you will want to drive and not walk. We do accept up to 2 well trained dogs with a $200 pet fee. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or in the beds. **Please note that we, thankfully, are not inside the zoning areas where short term rentals are being restricted In Highlands after 2023 and we do not support the actions of Town of Highlands in restricting our fellow short term rental neighbors in Highlands and have given money to their cause, even though we are outside the zoning restrictions. Because we are outside the zoning restrictions, we are accepting reservations for all of 2025.

This is a really nice home located perfectly for shopping and sight seeing in Highlands (just a few minutes away) and Cashiers (15 minutes). Very nice size home with plenty of space for folks to spread out - clean and easy to communicate with owners. We have rented this home multiple times.

We absolutely loved the house and property. Wendi was very responsive to everything we needed. Beautiful home and view! We will definitely stay there in the future.

Exceptionally clean! Great kitchen and dinning area. Family rm was very comfortable for all 9 of us. Always received a quick reply from our host whenever I had a question.

Everything was perfect for our stay - love the library and the kitchen nook, the back deck and walking the neighborhood! Weather was amazing too!
