The cabin was very cozy and set on a large private land so it’s great for dogs. Our little schnauzer enjoyed exploring and running around the grounds unleashed. There’s a great vista of the hills and good spots for watching spectacular sunsets. The location itself is easily accessible to Sebastopol town which has trendy shops and good eateries. The cabin was well-equipped and well-stocked with coffee and tea except it didn’t have a kettle to boil water (we’re tea drinkers and we even brought our own tea) but our responsive host Gail got one immediately however it was after our stay. Everything else is perfect and will definitely stay here again. (At least we now know our next stay will be flawless with the new electric kettle…thanks to Gail.)

This was my second stay at Moonview Ranch with my dog. I had been dreaming of returning since my first stay in July 2021. This cabin is wonderfully remote...an oasis at the end of a long gravel road. The views are incredible!! I enjoyed clear sunset views, as well as evening fog and magical morning mist. My dog was so happy and free exploring the property off leash. What a treat! The cabin is simple and rustic; it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The king size bed is especially comfy; you can watch the sunset from bed. There are two decks to enjoy depending on the time of day and if you prefer sun or shade. It's an ideal place to unplug and enjoy Mother Nature. The property is very peaceful...excluding the occasional cow, owl or house settling at the end of the day. Gail, the property contact, is very welcoming and helpful should you need anything. I hope to return again to this very special place.
