We have stayed at this place a couple of times now. We love it. It is very relaxing setting on the deck and listening to the river rush by. The rooms are great, very clean. Can't say enough about it. We would definitely stay here again.

After reading the comments of previous renters and viewing the photos online we had high expectations of this rental; we were not disappointed.
River Song hits on all of the major things you look for in a vacation rental; it's clean, comfortable, well-equipped and has a fantastic location, next to the Arkansas River. But it also scores on the little things you really do not consider when you book your rental. We were continually discovering little details the owners had considered for their guests. Of all of the dozens of vacation rentals we have stayed at over the years, this is probably one of the most well-stocked kitchens we have encountered.
I had a full agenda to keep our family busy for our entire four-day stay (not enough time) but, on the last day, everyone just wanted to hang out at the house and enjoy the property.
And the spaces were incredible. There was a living room and a deck for every member of our family with plenty of space to get together as a group but also space to spread out if you wanted some time to yourself. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. When you open the windows you can hear the gentle roar of the Arkansas River from every room.
I would confidently recommend River Song for your get-away to the Buena Vista area.

Three couples chose this wonderful house for a Memorial Day Weekend getaway and couldn't have been happier. The perfect spot for relaxing and spending time with friends. The location is amazing: right on the river to hear the rushing water, watch the kayakers and floaters go by, read/relax on the multiple deck spaces, watch the birds, deer, chipmunks go by.
The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. No need to bring any of the basics (oil, salt, sugar, spices...) and all the kitchenware you would ever use. We stayed in for two of the nights and enjoyed our dinner on the deck watching the sunset.
The house is beautifully decorated, but still cozy. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. We didn't want to leave and will hopefully return in the future.

House and location were great. House was clean and ready upon arrival. Excellent kitchen and dining setup. Decks and river access are top notch. Fun location with hiking, close to town and easy to get too.
