- 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is necessary in the winter months to access the property due to the steep driveway
- Please respect all posted private property/no trespassing signs and keep the noise to a minimum, as there are nearby neighbors
- Your safety matters. This property features 8 exterior security cameras: 3 cameras are located at the driveway and garage facing the garage exterior and driveway, 1 camera is at the front door facing the outdoor entry, 1 camera is on the side exterior facing the backyard with a distant view of the hot tub, 1 camera is on the back deck facing the backyard, deck and back outdoor entry, and 1 camera is at the lower level door facing the outdoor entry. They do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound in 15-20 second intervals when activated by motion

The pictures don't do justice as to how big this cabin actually is. You feel like a little kid when you walk into the main room. We wanted to get away from city life and this was perfect for us. It is close to town but not so far away that getting groceries or something to eat is ever a problem. The cabin seemed well maintained, and it was a perfect place for any family wanting to visit. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

When we pulled up we couldn’t believe how beautiful this cabin was! It was everything was hoped for in a weekend get away! Deff better than the photos and would stay again for sure! Thanks so much for having us!

Huge beautiful cabin, well equipped with every thing you need, Great views, we were there when it was 6°f, and we found down stairs was easier to keep warm with the low ceiling. Only issue was there was very little fire wood, only enough for 1 night, so we had to go and buy it, and for the amount we paid for the villa, we would expect a good supply of fire wood to last our visit. Apart from that, we had a great time and if in the area again, would defiantly be back.

The below review is my email sent to Evolve. Being they ask to email/call prior to leaving a below 5 review.
My wife and I would like to be able to give this property a 5 star review, but at this time we are planning on leaving a 3.0 to 4.0 rating. But, wanted to reach out, as asked, from the correspondence sent from Evolve, prior to leaving a review lower than a 5.0 rating.The home by all means is beautiful and huge, and has lots of nice features. But, it fails in a lot of small ways that really stand out when it comes to a property getting a 5 star review at this price point per night, and more importantly a repeat stay. We would love to find a place that we could go back year after year.
Pros:
Large and spacious.
Secluded, but still close to town.
Hot tub was nice
Pool table
Big screens in every room
Sauna
WIFI
Board games, and video games.
Views
Couches were comfortable.
Counter tops in kitchen were beautiful.
Wrap around deck.
Cons:
Only two jets of the four on the Master bath Jacuzzi tub worked. The closest ones to the faucet need replaced or fixed. One jet didn't function at all. (The master bath/bed was a big selling point for my wife and I on getting this home)
Both shower heads in master shower did not function correctly and needs replaced. The big rain one couldn't be tightened to stay up and hung limp and the small hand held one just didn't come out well, like it was getting plugged up on the shower head and where you had to be right under it to properly shower.
Never could figure out how the upstairs floor warmers were supposed to be turned on. Daughter figured out on the last night on the downstairs floor warmers.
Master fire place did not work. (Was one of the main draws for us on choosing the house)
Master bedroom doors going outside need replaced or worked on. Did not feel as though they would latch or close properly. (We followed the instructions for the door posted)
Several windows were left unlocked from previous tenant(s).
Couple windows did not open or did not have screens. (Upstairs family room, master bed)
There is actually 3 outdoor camera's on property. Nothing necessary wrong with three, we like the security, but the listing speaks of only two cameras.
Beds were not the best. Uncomfortable for us in master and for wife's parents in room downstairs with the two queens.
Pillows need to be replaced and needs to be more. Only two in master bed?
No steak knives!!
It is neither a pro or con, but, a basic layout of the property boundary's would of been useful. Was never for sure where the boundary was, and, was hesitant to venture to far. Did not want to be in a neighbors yard. Was unsure about the fence by the house.
Like stated, lots of these cons are small and maybe not amount to much. But with enough them, it does effect the overall experience of the home.The property was wonderful in many aspects, but, we feel that we would probably not rent this particular home again due to the listed items. We had considered contacting Amy Mulder @ Peakview Services during our stay, but we felt we didn't want to deal with the hassle and made the best of it.
I will postpone leaving my review for a couple days to allow for correspondence.
