Our son's wedding was just down the road at the Steel Horse Inn, so this gorgeous house was in an Ideal location for our family to enjoy! Frisbee golf course was well used along with the wrap-around deck! THANKS!!

The Bonanza Outpost was amazing! The cabin itself is beautiful and the setting is even better. Our 3 year old loved the loft space and even tried his hand at the frisbee golf course (that went slowly :-/). We enjoyed the creek and the endless bird species, including Stellar’s Jays and Evening Grosbeaks, that visited the deck. The view of the sunset over Flagstaff mountain every night is unforgettable.

Property is a beautiful and spacious log cabin!
It is one of only 2 VRBOs I know of in this area.
The beds and the bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Family room surrounded by windows with gorgeous views!
Checking with the property manager in advance, we learned that there were brew coffee pots and Keurig’s both in the main kitchen area and in the lower kitchen as well. We were told that the kitchen was well appointed with appliances etc
So it was with disappointment when we entered the home to find that neither brew coffee pot was in working order and only one Keurig was operable but leaked all over the counter. We also noticed that the Keurig had been taped underneath so this was apparently an issue before our arrival.
We tried making ice. Ice maker worked briefly upon arrival, then stopped making ice
Worked a little bit again the last morning we were there. It needs maintenance
The refrigerator in our kitchen had mold between the shelves and there was quite a bit of food (opened and unopened) left in both refrigerators. The small microwave had no dish to set on the turntable. Some of the baking pans were not clean.
The light fixture above the eating area was very dusty and littered with bugs
At least 3 of the sliding doors in the main area of the home would not lock
RV hookup …. Our friends were without electricity because they couldn’t access the detached garage and turn on power to electric panel
The code for garage didn’t work on the side garage
So while the property itself was beautiful, It was the little things that made our stay less than perfect.
