Enjoyed our honeymoon here away from it all. Cottage had everything we needed to stay in, but also 45 minutes from Acadia, airport, and towns like Ellsworth, Brewer, and Bangor. Long Pond was awesome to explore in the row boat, but also very relaxing to sit by the water. Saw lots of wild life and enjoyed the great outdoors. The hammock was our favorite part to just be. Highly recommend for a couple or set of couples as a getaway. Would be suitable for a family as well with nature, games, and spending quality time. Cottage was confusing to get to with GPS though. Address listed is not the exact address as it is a shared driveway for multiple homes. Hot tub pictured is not the one at site. One on site only seats 2 people. We stayed in the Fall, but Cottage was cool at night. There were extra blankets provided though. Liked having the cleaning supplies on hand, but vacuum may need updated. Fully equipped kitchen was awesome and helped us save monet on prepared meals. Wish the livingroom had a tv for a movie night. For a single bathroom, it was really nice to have a huge tub, lots of sink space, and a shower. We would book this property again. Thank you for sharing your home!

The cabin is so comfortable with all amenities. We walked the Long Pond road and enjoyed reading in the main room with a nice fire going. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t use the lake, but we loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Well thought out extras and wonderful design outside and inside. The area is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the loons and the serenity of nature. If you want a place to get away and reset this is the place! Close enough to take day trips to Acadia, Bar Harbor, or Lubec. Also enough to keep you entertained at the cottage so no need to leave!
